@@matijasostojic4288 Yeah for some reason a huge portion of the top part of the the screen and a little off the bottom and the sides are clearly being cut off like it's zoomed in. There's more mystery to this vid than the game
My genuinely favourite parts of these games is when the characters actually fight back against centuries old demons and spirits and win, making the spirits quite ineffectual. Tomato is over here playing the "Little Hope" JRPG and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Putting a 'jumpscare' into the scene where he shoots himself is real tasteless, considering the psychological/emotional aspect is about the only thing this game had going for it.
During the game, I wish they would've gotten rid of the ol' timey stuff. Now, I wish that was the story. That the families of these characters have been forever cursed after these witch trials, and every century or so they are reincarnated to relive the horror or atone/fin out the truth. After Paranormal it's a little cliche, but still.

I hate the whole "mental illness was the killer!" type shit, it's such a cop-out, and it's always proposed as a 'realistic' ending when it has no basis in reality
Well mental illness can kill. It's like a poison that slowly kills your mind. Usually stems from childhood trauma or other PTSD from later in life. Some people can deal with it while others can't. Most don't get help so most end up fucked up in one way or another.
@@thaoster209 People who think mental health killers in movies and games don't really suffer from it or know they suffer with it for them to say something so ignorant as the OP's message lol.
@@cruxmind what you just said made no sense. No, they don't suffer from mental illness because the characters aren't real. And what I'm saying is that the portrayal of mental illness in media is often sensationalized to the point of being rediculous.
This narrative idea is neat, but it doesn't work. You'd need to create a story where you have the two players in both time lines, flipping back and forth, sharing their information... trying to figure out what time line they are in/is real. (Think of it almost like a multiple personality illness with hallucinations.) with the game ending based on how you and the other player choose. When in reality you're in the modern day and based on how you act determines your ending. (Mental hospital, freedom, or on the electric chair.) with the character being aware based on how much you've come to understand on both worlds while if you accept only one you'll be hallucinating even as you die. It is relatable to even those who don't have illnesses like these as finding the truth from the lies is near impossible even in daily life and we do need help from others to discern it.
But multiple personality disorder doesn't exactly work like that though, that doesn't match its symptoms much at all. And I don't see why freedom is separate from the mental hospital, psychiatric ward and professional help can actually be good for patients. Asylums and other archaic institutions however, are not. And the electric chair would only be available for serious criminals, and the mentally ill are more likely to be a victim of crime than the perpetrator according to statistics and studies.
