Spread dmg dots on imps to pump meters is more equivilent to 20k of actual damage , notice 3rd game when the demo is on his team his damage is 50% less

Exactly. It was pre nerf so he still topped the meters with his damage on players, but when he was against the Warlock the absurd damage comes from the passive cleave on pets. But it actually gives him more Ferocious Bites procs, so it's actually not all a waste.

Hey shadenox great video, why do you play cheat death over elusiveness? And do you still play with gouge in solo shuffle?

I went Cheat Death because in this meta every class except maybe Affliction has very high burst with big hits, procs and so on, so it ends up often saving me. Most people seem to have damage kind of all the time, not only on goes (if the concept of goes is even still a thing), so Elusiveness ends up being weird... some stuff is hard to predict. But the, again it's the best in some match-ups !
And no, I don't play with Gouge in Solo Shuffle.

@@Shadenox thank u so much for the reply! i swapped to cheat death and it has saved me in so many rounds in solo shuffle. sometimes i try to pre feint the go e.g pre feint stormbolt and spear from warrior. but it doesnt matter 20% less dmg taken i still take so much damage. cheat death can mean the difference between winning or losing the round!!

I might have to swap out elusiveness for cheat death. Finding it’s uses are very inconsistent.

Hey shade do you ever find atrophic poison useful? Maybe against melee comps? Also deadened nerves against melee comps rogue just feels squishy against certain classes

I prefer playing Mind-Numbing always because there is at least a healer against who the casting reduction is very useful, and even agianst melee Mind-Numbing is coded has haste reduction so it impacts their GCD (unless it's Rogue or Feral as these have a 1s GCD no matter what).

I very often don't swap, mostly because I forget ! It's usually the same build but Disarm can be changed for Maneuverability when there is nothing to disarm.

Is the arterial build now the go to for soloshuffle?

It's good in melee heavy lobbies where you know you always have at least two targets on top of you, maybe even three. But even then I like playing without it because Shrouded Suffocation really is good and pleasant to play, although it may not be optimal in that sort of situation. And in cast lobbies, I just play the normal build that we played before the patch.
