We moved trucks around the country for a while back in 21-23 .. we drove every truck imaginable and besides the 379 the Coronado was my favorite truck to drive . Comfortable, good power , tons of space .. if I were over the road this is the truck I would want to be in
I prefer ELD. They should have fought to change how the hours of operations work. We need more exemptions. I hated having to redo the paper logs. Wasted a lot of time doing that.
I have to run an eld now. The company i drove for before this was before the regs kicked in. Ran 3 paper logs, loose leaf of course. Because sometimes, you just gotta make it look legit.😂😂😂 We don't t haul outside freight, and our dispatch isn't a jackwagon, so eld works in this job. The last job, no way. Baltimore to agusta maine and back with a reload. 3 turns a week. I may have used my sleeper 3 times in 5 years. Plus, i lived close enough that i just went home for a nap and laundry every other night while they did my unload and reload. Got inspected in conneticut at the i84 scale. The officer walks up and says, " ok, let me see your funny papers" they all knew the logs were a joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The shit we used to get away with
I wouldn't say the best but I get your point. My 2000 Classic wit a 525 red top Cummings gets the job done & is comfortable. Not a fan of def or eld so I agree 1000% despite whatever hate you say you receive. Got a 01 Classic also wit a 12.7 Detroit but it's more of a project truck now. I just love old iron, 33 years as a driver so I kno a thing or 2 & agree with you guys position on reliability of older engines
Ole freight shakersss have driven an rode in freightliners from the FLD to the Classic/Classic XL the century Columbia and cascadia! I preferred the Classic XL truck but I would never turn down a Pete or KDUB! (Kenworth) don’t mind the manuals but trucking has pushed towards automatic transmissions! But hey more drive time helps in traffic in my opinion! If you have any Pete’s in the fleet show them off
Think newer drivers (less than 2 years)should be required to run an ELD truck. I drive a 2016 Coronado with a 1999 Detroit. Been at it for 20 years and driving about everything from Pete’s to Kenworths to Internationals and Freightliners. The best driving truck has been the Coronado. I know there will be Pete guys n girls that will disagree but that’s my opinion. Safe travels to all the “drivers” and watch out for the steering wheel holders.
@@dustinbugal2069 oh no an internet genius. It’s still outdated equipment. Just because supply and demand (or what we call economics) bumps up the price doesn’t mean it’s not outdated. A 1960 corvette is still outdated crap even if someone wants to pay $150k for it.
I love the "what clock" at the end

The old-school drivers let it get this bad they took their tails and skirted the regulations besides having a set of balls
Started trucking when I was 27 and that was almost 3 years ago.. I’m use to the ELD..
Gtta love ah good shaker I drive a xl classic 14l
Freightshakers Move America!
Is it still good to run all the states in one of those?
All but California!
Loose leaf is best. That's the only way to fly.
100% agree
Pre emmission trucks are the best. And paperlogs is the only way to truck!
End of story!
@@frankleonard6570Agreed!
Beautiful trucks
Yes they are!
My brother's got a 2014 Coronado and it came with Def...did yall delete youre whole fleet or something?
I'm gonna sit this one out 😂👍🇨🇦🔧
Where you going? 😂
Once saw a asian man with a sleeve tattoo... hauling containers😂😂🤯
Paper is best
And D. S60 is a cherry on top
What if all trucks were allowed to be on paper? Imagine that 😁
@@MerdzicTrans I miss those days
@@robertkilpatrick2549 we all do 🥲
@@MerdzicTrans people got caught fudging logs too much that's why we have elds
Love the Coronados. As far as logs go if you're good enough it don't matter. But the DEF sucks. Maintenance issues. Much love.

Apperciate your hard work out there! Stay Safe and thank you for watching our content!
Coronados are the BEST Freightliners AND Haulpay Freight Payments + Factoring is the BEST Factor!
Be safe God Bless you and your family 💯♥️✌️🙏🥂🤟👍
Thank you and same to you!
Kwobbly rides better. Has better window especially in the later years. The daylight door is nice
You think Robert truthful, your wrong about Coronado’s too.
Until you do a fuckin windshield on one 😂😂
FLD’s were the best
No ELD
No sir!
36 yrs no eld!!!
I highly disagree young man..
the 80s Freightliner and the earlier classics were the best.. they had a much harder body more horsepower and torque
Sad but freightliner has quit making this trucks
And paper is 100 better . You can be a driver not a robot
No the classis xl with the 84 inch bunk is the best
ELD is fair and safe. 👍
No eld
fuck eld paper is best
NO ELD is the way to go I can run more miles
Are your trucks govnered ?
Money making rigs
Looks like an old bunch of outdated equipment
It is old but it’s more reliable than some of the newer trucks on the market
Just from this comment I can tell you your net worth is less than one of these trucks..
Yup the most reliable

very reliable
I think this is the most sexy of all semi trucks
Are you talking my about Chucky or the Green Hornet? 😁
