I'm very glad you enjoyed the "real boat restorations" at the Clayton Antique Boat Museum Joe. I'm sometimes hesitant about suggesting some things like that but I knew after we talked you would be one person that could truly appreciate what a "National Treasure" that place truly is. Stay motivated brother. Cheers! Rick
Maarten 🐙Historic: A boat built up to and including 1918. Antique: A boat built between 1919 and 1942. Classic: A boat built between 1943 and 1975. And Maarten is spelled Martin by the rest of the English speaking world. 😂🤣
@@motorcityboatwerks Spelled Martin to make it easy for the Murrkin dialect speakers. Almost no "Martins" in the Dutch speaking world, not that we we discussing the spelling of anything. You guys call anything older than yourselves "Antique". As for spelling... Howcum you lot can't get your tongues around ALUMINIUM? 😂
😂🤣The designations are established by the Antique Boating Club of America, Maarten, not by the Dutch. And the museum is located in the United States 🇺🇸 . Please move along🐙

Great side trip showing Real Boat Restoration. This boat museum is an adrenalin shot for any builder. Beauty and form. Speed frozen in wood.

Neat place - the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is very similar and worth a visit if you're ever back around this way.
Thanks Wayne 😁
Reminds me of Mariners Museum in Newport News. Great place to visit.

Thanks for the boat porn, Joe!! That some real boat restoration there.
Thanks for the comment Mark 😁👌 glad you’ve enjoyed it !
Thanks for a great tour. I think the correct terminology is VINTAGE. ANTIQUE is defined as 100 years old or more.
