I’ve been a sub of Open By Chance for years and I’m so happy to see them spotlighted here. His knowledge of old toys from the 60s and 70s is why I watch his channel as I was born in 76 so I remember some of those toys but wasn’t around when they were new.
What a MIND BLOWING COLLECTION! I’ve never seen a collection curated like that! Wow! Thank you for the video. 🫨🤯🤩Just an fyi Barbie got toilets for the Dreamhouse from the mid to late 70s. 🚽
21:10 Yes! I'm glad the focus was put on this. Every toy hunt episode I see by US collectors always pans by the Doctor Who stuff to look at other stuff.
Yes yes and YES! I remember everything Dave has in his collection. It helps we are the same age! He is a TRUE to life Toy Historian! I would pit Dave against any toy aficionado with confidence!
I enjoy watching both you and Open By Chance very much, super cool to see a collaboration video finally happen. Thanks to you and them for making this possible.
Love the Open by Chance channel! We see a lot of vintage 80's and 90's toys on TH-cam but rarely do we see obscure stuff from the 70's and earlier. Very cool
I wasnt born when alot of the early 80s figures came out but I love seeing all the old packaging and hearing the stories behind these older toy lines. This museum is absolutly amazing! I love the setup and like you said the colored boards to hang everything really makes it pop. Im always a toy opener but I really love seeing the boxed mint on card look almoste like a toy isle which of course as a child was always my favorite time was running down the toy isles and looking at all the new toys.
That was amazing that was a whole lot of everything I didn't see one line they didn't collect awesome episode keep up the good work my brother oh by the way I use your book as a ultimate check off list
As someone who's only been collecting for 4-5 years, collections like this really inspire me. Love those Mattel Suckerman toys, I'd never seen them before, but they are rad!
The Raid bug spray mascot figure reminds me of another commercial turned toy line that I have a figure from, the Chevron toy cars. They're sort of cute "chibi" versions of cars with eyes for headlights. They look they way they do in the commercials. I only have one, but there are a LOT of them in different models and colors.
Loved this video! Lovely to see all the toys and specially the weird pieces. And lovely to hear their stories with it. I am definitely interested into seeing more of this :D
Having fun catching up on toy hunting videos I missed and holy moly, I'm not sure I've ever sat in such stunned silence during one of your videos Dan - this collection was incredible and breathtaking. Those worms triggered a memory for me from very early 1980's up here in Canada. Awesome video, ty for sharing this once in a lifetime collection.
Great collection, how much money did they spend on that? Keep making entertaining and great videos Dan. PS. I like it when Ed's Retro Geek out makes appearances in your videos, hehe, he's like the Stan Lee cameos for Toy Hunting videos.
That's Dalek Playsuit looks terrible (couldn't imagine someone wearing it for more than a few minutes), but its incredible that it was made at all. Great video.
Wow... just wow... :D That MotU collection alone is impressive, let alone everything else in that room! :o P.S. @Pixel Dan I got my hands on your book recently and I absolutely love it... I just got back to collecting MotU thanks to Masterverse line (If I was aware of Classics, I would probably got into it much sooner) and it feels great to be able to pick up the book and compare my new figure with all of its predecessors. There is something special in looking at the earlier MotU figures in a big and heavy book instead of googling for images on my laptop. :D I watched your video about making the book and I know you were thinking whether to list the figures alphabetically or in order they were released, and from catalog standpoint, alphabetical order is definitely better for finding specific figures, but if you look at it like a book, my personal preference would be the chronological order, just to get a better understanding on how the things progressed. Not a complain, just an observation. :) I really hope you are planning (or already work on) Vol 2. which would contain Origins and Masterverse releases as I would be the first in line to get it. :)
Oh my soul... I had that Pillsbury doughboy roto vinyl toy. It was like yellow and smelled like a basement haha It looked ancient when I was young. Those swamp thing figures have aged very well, they look pretty nice to this day. I had most of those all lost in the ether of time.
I love how toy 🤓 nerds are so full of expertise in their chosen field! We can learn so much. I've learned tons about toys from your videos and your guests. Thanks 👌 Ps . Have you ever came across a Mighty Mo Canon boxed?
Wow besides the sets Steve Seeley and me have, that's the only other set of Los Invencibles del Ring I've seen in a collection. Had no idea they were that rare.
I'm into 80s toys but there are a lot of cool 70s toys(Mego, vintage Joe.🥰) and although I panned 90s toys I'm finding things from that decade that I like in videos like yours.😉 I'd love to get some 60s or older toys but that gets pretty deep in the pocket Eg. The Great Garloo.😳$$$$$$$ Funny with merchandising, people like Mister Rogers holding back and then others saturate with lots of crappy stuff Eg. early Simpsons stuff was pretty bad. I'm not against merchandising but I just want good products.😐 Yeah product mascot stuff is pricey and hard to find often but largely it's such a bygone era with things like McDonaldland only existing in the past now. More recent one was those cute bad breath characters in that gum commercial Egs. Onion, Coffee, turns out they had a give away plushie but stupidly didn't just sell them in retail.😡 Most I've found was a recycling muppet plushie , some Koodo luchador, and a sheep from that mattress commercial. 11:27 Director Kevin Smith is a big fan of that Familiar places McDonalds toy. 16:12 Aw Worms, such a simple concept but I loved them.☺1981 hmm, wonder how long they made them, maybe I got a hand-me-down? They should make some new ones since it wouldn't be hard to do. Boy what a museum, saw things I've never seen before.😁
You're totally right about each decade really having some gems. And even though I wasn't around for the 60's and 70's I find myself fascinated by many toys from those eras.
Holy cow, I didn’t even know toys like this existed! This is truly an amazing private toy museum! Just amazing!
Epic, for sure! And the care they have for their collection is wonderful to see!
AMAZING episode❤❤❤❤

What a MIND BLOWING COLLECTION! I’ve never seen a collection curated like that! Wow! Thank you for the video. 🫨🤯🤩Just an fyi Barbie got toilets for the Dreamhouse from the mid to late 70s. 🚽

This collection is amazing! Its great seeing stuff that came out around the time I was born in the late 70's.
Yeah man! I am drawn to the stuff I know less about. It's fascinating!
What a great collection. Amazing. 👍
Always great content and a fun watch!
I love that Suckerman collection. I remember having the black one growing up. I didn't know there were color variations.
Great video. I’m glad you were able to showcase the museum.
Pretty mind blowing collection man.
So glad that exists!!!
I've been following open by chance for a few years now. I love that sweet spot from the late 70s to early 80s and he has it all, I love it
Awesome! They are great!!
Wow! What fun it must have been to visit such a place! Thanks again for sharing, Dan!!
Wow amazing
Good on you, Dan, for finding a pivot point to a new focus as MOTUwise things sorta die back down.
21:10 Yes! I'm glad the focus was put on this. Every toy hunt episode I see by US collectors always pans by the Doctor Who stuff to look at other stuff.
Amazing video! So many toys here I never knew existed, and I really love hearing people's stories about collecting. That dalek suit is priceless!
Yes yes and YES! I remember everything Dave has in his collection. It helps we are the same age! He is a TRUE to life Toy Historian! I would pit Dave against any toy aficionado with confidence!
This was a lot of fun!
I hope you're able to do more of these sometime!
Would love to see more stuff like this! LPH’s motu collection is amazing!
That BA Skeletor/ Panthor set is *chefs kiss*
Next level. Their love for each other and toy shows! The kirk uhura setup was super cute
Probably the greatest carded collection arround.
Mind blowing!
I love Motu so much ❤
I enjoy watching both you and Open By Chance very much, super cool to see a collaboration video finally happen. Thanks to you and them for making this possible.
Thanks for making the trip to this Toy Museum, Dan. That Keldor looks incredible.
A Dalek with hands....that's an automatic win.
Love the Open by Chance channel! We see a lot of vintage 80's and 90's toys on TH-cam but rarely do we see obscure stuff from the 70's and earlier. Very cool
Now that was a different collection! Would love to see you cover more vintage collections! I love to learn about new lines !!
A Museum Level Collection 😍
For real!!
Oh dang, I didn't realize how big those Skeletor and Joker statues were, until I noticed that Terror Drome behind them
I wasnt born when alot of the early 80s figures came out but I love seeing all the old packaging and hearing the stories behind these older toy lines. This museum is absolutly amazing! I have been following them for a while and they have such an extensive collection. I'd love to visit them someday.
Watch those 2 all the time, wonderfull couple.
I love these private collections videos. If more are possible then I’d definitely watch them.
I think pixel dan should talk about the crazy heman bootleg toys is his next book . Looks Mexico did some bootleg tiger sharks figures.
Oh man, that would be fun. There's so much! My friend Brian did a cool book called Knock-Offs that's kinda like that. You should check it out!!
Thanks for sharing this experience. There were lots of toys that I'd never been aware of but would love to see get a modern update.
You bet! Thanks for watching!!
Wow …..
That was amazing that was a whole lot of everything I didn't see one line they didn't collect awesome episode keep up the good work my brother oh by the way I use your book as a ultimate check off list

Forget star wars, forget masters of the universe, forget the maniac marvelverse!! Mr Rodgers!!! The fear and horror of Lady Elaine!!!😛
Loved this video! Lovely to see all the toys and specially the weird pieces. And lovely to hear their stories with it.
I am definitely interested into seeing more of this :D
Awesome, thank you! I love seeing odd items that I didn't know about before. Always learning new things. It's what I love about this hobby.
@@Pixel-dan And thanks for your reply man... i appreciate it ^_^
Wow! They brought me back to stuff I hadn’t seen since I was a kid! Like that Suckerman. Super cool!! ❤❤
Having fun catching up on toy hunting videos I missed and holy moly, I'm not sure I've ever sat in such stunned silence during one of your videos Dan - this collection was incredible and breathtaking. Fantastic stuff Dan.
Awesome collection.🎉

This video is proof that toys only started getting cool in the 80’s
Wow I love it when I see stuff I didn't know existed. Lot of that here.
That room is a collector dream come true
Oh my soul... I had that Pillsbury doughboy roto vinyl toy. It was like yellow and smelled like a basement haha It looked ancient when I was young. Those swamp thing figures have aged very well, they look pretty nice to this day. I had most of those all lost in the ether of time.

Ps . Have you ever came across a Mighty Mo Canon boxed?
Exactly! I love absorbing as much knowledge as I can. Always learning - it keeps it exciting! And no - can't say I have!
Pixel Dan are you excited about reviewing the new ninja turtle figures for the new TMNT film that’s coming out in August! You know I am!
What a great video. Please make more
I’m 12 years old and I collect 70s toys to 80s and 90s
Wow besides the sets Steve Seeley and me have, that's the only other set of Los Invencibles del Ring I've seen in a collection. Had no idea they were that rare.
Some hunt with a gun, others hunt with there camera.
As we all know, we all hunt with our wallets:)
Lolol "And Mickey looks nor-... he's the right color scheme."
Im Suckerman everytime I kknow Im overpaying for a figure hahah
That's all of us! 🤣🤣
I think that Darlek costume is about the same level of production value as the original show.
We can’t collect everything, but we can appreciate everything thanks to everyone. ❤ feel free to use that one P-Danny
Suuuuucker Man!
I'm pretty sure I had a pirate figure. It was AWFUL. It went straight to the bottom of the toy box.
Great video. Mr Rogers merch what?
Marlon Brando hired Jay J Armes find his son and he found him in Mexico in three days
This video is very dangerous for a collector. I was searching Ebay while watching. 💪😆
hi sir just want to get your opinion would you consider the power of the force 1995 as classic kenner star wars
Hey where is it
I'm into 80s toys but there are a lot of cool 70s toys(Mego, vintage Joe.🥰) and although I panned 90s toys I'm finding things from that decade that I like in videos like yours.😉 I'd love to get some 60s or older toys but that gets pretty deep in the pocket Eg. The Great Garloo.😳$$$$$$$

You're totally right about each decade really having some gems. And even though I wasn't around for the 60's and 70's I find myself fascinated by many toys from those eras.
It really is like being in the being in a shop, not viewing a collection. Not really my bag to be honest.
Muy aburrido 😒 el video deberías de poner mas tmnt playmates vintage
Stop cutting to your face. I want to see the toys.
a lot of collector displays have the same stuff
Cool.
18:12 what the F% was he about to say?
I don't think that was an F-bomb. I listed to it over. I think some of the cross talk in the room makes it sound like that.
