congrats on your purchase, brother. my grandma bought me those army force things, she thought i could use them when i played army and dressed up in my little army guy outfit. big shocker was the face they turned into bases. lol. good times.

I had absolutely no clue eternia was a 4,000 dollar playset.... You did get a good deal. The new format is great I often watch your toy hunts over action figure reviews from other channels now. Instead of just focusing on one toy it's more like an adventure of seeing lots of toys with some I had completely forgotten about. that ninja toy made me think about Stretchoids I bet no one has any idea what those are but I loved them.
Sometimes when I'm out hunting and I spend over $100 I get second thoughts about it too, but then I think, if it makes you happy and you truly value the things you are buying, then in a way money can buy a little happiness. The nice thing about vintage stuff is that it usually keeps a fair amount of resell value so you can recoup some costs later if you choose.
Another thing that I find interesting is, when I think about a huge TH-camr like PD, I assume $400 on toys is not a big deal for famous toy personalities, so it is very relatable hearing you debate yourself about dropping cash like that. I wonder how many misconceptions the toy community has about TH-camrs getting things for free as review samples, their own personal budgets, etc.

I loved the aliens and predator figures as a kid. The alien queen was my fav alien and I had the mail away invisible predator.

I'm so glad you got so much joy from getting closer to completing your Eternia playset. I vaguely recall the Army Gear playsets. It seems like a cool concept that Ninja Turtles could try to adapt to their roleplay weapons to convert into micro playsets. Seeing that Cobra Night Raven makes me hope that Hasbro can use their Transformers x G.I. Joe line to give fans a Sky Shadow that transforms into a Night Raven.

Could be wrong, but I vaguely remember reading a while back that the Street Fighter 2 pack is actually an official release. Leftover figures produced that they couldn't sell at retail, sold very cheaply to that company who carded them up. There are also variations where it's on GI Joe figure & one Streetfighter figure in the same pack.
I used to have those Star Force 3 pack figures. I got them at Dollar Tree when I was a kid. Definitely worth the price.

11:34 I was born in the 90's and grew up with a large portion of my childhood in the early-mid 00's, so I was fairly familiar with Chap Mei's toys like this one here. If you really like these, you should look into their Beast Raider line, as it took on quite a bit of inspiration from the 200X MotU line from around that time. Great video as always!
You talking about dollar store toys reminds me how the best dollar store toy I got was a Transformers knock off. It was a deluxe sized knock off of Beast Machines Night Scream. It is literally the most show accurate beast machine toy lol

I still remember when i was little I would ask for corps bc it was the cheapest thing and came with lots of accessories. $1 a figure was a great deal . I still have some of them
The chains was a great score. I am working on piecing together an Eternia as well. It makes me cringe seeing that they just threw the track pieces in a bin. Those things are fragile.

It's worth noting TransFormerLand had a March MOTU Madness update on Sunday. They're selling a complete Eternia described as c8.5 due to "motor module rubber slightly dry and warped. Purple sky cage has stress marks. One tower floor has heavy yellowing and sticker wear." The price is $3750.00 US.

Obviously you don’t want to share personal finances, but I’d be curious to know how you budget for your toy collecting.
If you think about it, the $200 you spent years ago on the 3 towers, plus the $400 for these parts, you've only spent $600 on your Eternia so far which isn't bad at all.
I'm glad you were able to grab that Army Gear toy, I had no idea the figures were partially articulated! I may need to track down a set or two.

You're looking at old Army Gear stuff and I've looking at old Mighty Max sets, which my parents would not let me buy for some reason after I had been collecting MOTU, Thundercats, TMNT, etc. Anyway, is this a trend for us 40-year-old toy collectors to go after micro playsets at this stage in our lives? LOL
With regards to the Towers and that old TV ad, man, I wanted action figures, but I wanted to play with action figures on the sets the kids got to play on. Sure, they could have maybe gotten tetanus with some of that rusted metal, but like, Street Sharks just for example, I mean, watching them karate chop the solo cups, getting knocked off the block pyramid with the bike, all the sand they were sliding through, the sets of toys they advertised and the fancy lighting and all that, I wanted a play area like that film set all the time and tried to duplicate it several times but to no avail. The action figure collections are cool but, having an actual stage or playset to play on, that's the eternal wish...... Not that anyone else cares just me, but I wanted to play on that stage as a kid.....

I can't help noticing the stickers on Serpentor's Air Chariot horizontal guidance winglets at 2:11 are each upside down. A third sticker was also added to the "Coblar" fiber reinforced battle shield yet the instructions suggest putting it on the lower body.
