Lessons I learned a long time ago: If you see something you really want, GET IT. Don't wait around thinking it'll just sit and wait for you. Procrastination is not your friend, and you never know when the opportunity may come again. True in the dating world too.
Love your Con Walkthroughs, Dan! I totally had that Armored Doc Ock figure. I was so stoked to see how happy it made Spencer, and that it was complete! (Those tentacle attachments were so easy to lose!) I literally LOL'd at the conclusion of your "Ones that got away," story! I def think you saved the best for last!
Love those large scale 2d art creations. I could not find a link in your description. I also could not find them on google. I would love to buy a few for my collection. So cool!
When Dan was looking at the Thundercats I could see a Secret Wars Captain America in another box. I used to have that & the Doctor Doom plus their sidecar/cycle vehicles.
10:00 Totally, Brainiac is a strong case example for on-card collecting since that veneer wears off so easily. Just been looking over expensive beat up OG Silverhawks heh. ;)
Great to see you in Atlanta this weekend! Never would have know about Rokkon and Stonedar if not for your book, and got examples of both at the show. Thanks for helping me choose a vintage Extendar! Keep it up Dan!
Oh I do know that feeling, and I learned my lesson...never leave a toy behind with the "I'll get that later", it always sells :)) Oh yay for the new Creepy Santa!
15:14 MAN those Series 2 Silverhawks toys have shot up in price like crazy over the years. I got Condor and Windhammer for maybe $25-$30 each 15+ years ago.
I have my childhood fort kerium displaying all my 7' figures next to my new he man origins castle grey skull. I had that doc oc as a kid but sold it, thanks for the memories as always!
Hey Dan, in Milan there's a pretty interesting Toy Fair near the Linate airport: it's called "Novegro Borsa Scambio Giocattoli", it'd be great to find u there, it takes place every 3 months!
I can't believe how much carded stuff there was... and how not expensive that zartan was. I can't imagine with how chaotic life is keeping things that old in such mint condition.. I have just a couple toys from my childhood and that's it.. all are lost in the ether of time somehow.
Yeah a replacement Creepy Santa!! I bet Steena is so excited 😂. What is the your giant Skeletor 2D art made from? It doesn’t look like wood, but the sign said they were outdoor ready?
@@redbananaartbydavidclark It's a Mitch Hedberg joke. Bananas are the opposite of traffic lights. Green means stop, yellow means go ahead, and red means, where the hell, did you get that banana at?
At a Toy Show why would you think the toys would still be there at the end of the show? lol Especially when some of the things you wanted were already kinda cheap in price to begin with? Also loved that My Buddy theme song playing with your cut out Skeletor hehe
Don't tell me that the level of sophistication on today's toys doesn't beat to sh------ttt the old stuff. Ever hear of fans toys!?? Threezero, figma, how about neca . The new night cougar is fanfuckingtastic. How about the new motu masterverse buzzoff??!❤❤😂
On one hand, your collecting was kept under control by some powers that be, missing out on those gems...On the other hand, it just wasn't your day XD At least you got some cool stuff regardless \^^/ Another great video, sir!
Hey Dan, not sure about the new format of your toy hunt videos... I remember you were asking for feedback on that in a previous vid. I can see why you do it, it kind of adds a bit of drama to the situation and it's very much in keeping with the way they film certain TV shows, but that's kind of the issue for me... I'm not a fan of that style where people are commenting on a past event like it's their inner monologue in that moment. Hopefully you're not offended! I like that you're trying out different styles, but this one isn't really working for me personally. Don't worry, though, I'll continue watching your videos. Yours is the TH-cam channel I've been subscribed to longest and I love most of your content!
That looked like a great show. But not to being a d&ck, but most of us have been doing this long enough, if you see something you want at a show buy it. It’ll be gone later.
New format is very unpersonal? the constant voice over is annoying, like you're waiting for you to finally take a breath. The old style of walking through the convention or store, was way more personal and 'interactive'. Like you were walking next to you visiting the convention / store seeing what kind of cool stuff was for sale. Really hope that you will go back to that style of vlogs, after you've done stretching your editing muscles because this doesn't keep me watching till the end
Love those large scale 2d art creations. I could not find a link in your description. I also could not find them on google. I would love to buy a few for my collection. So cool!
Thank you Dan for the shout out! My kid loves the Pixel Danhausen signature.

What's up man, I was the guy with my dad at red banana tat got you to sign the danhausen heavy metal cover, good video dude.
This is great!! It's very nice to see everyday folk running a business that is focused on a hobby that they are passionate about!

Same!!! Huge Strawberry Shortcake and I need that artwork
Froggy Flips was at that show as well. You actually appeared in his video a couple times. Pretty cool. :-)
Was going to say the same thing. I was waiting for them to talk in both of their videos but maybe they don't know each other.
When Dan was looking at the Thundercats I could see a Secret Wars Captain America in another box. I used to have that & the Doctor Doom plus their sidecar/cycle vehicles.
I love how the castle Grayskull robot is staring through the window on the Tim Baron print lol
10:00 Totally, Brainiac is a strong case example for on-card collecting since that veneer wears off so easily. Just been looking over expensive beat up OG Silverhawks heh. ;)
"Wait wut?" So cute
IT'S ALWAYS GREAT 2 SEE SOMEONE THAT REALY ENJOY WHAT THEY DO,THANK YOU!😄!

Great video Dan love those art work of MOTU especially these cardboard versions of the motu characters
Great show, video and picks...Glad to see that the little one is a collector too
15:14 MAN those Series 2 Silverhawks toys have shot up in price like crazy over the years. I got Condor and Windhammer for maybe $25-$30 each 15+ years ago.
14:03 Looks like the same accessory that came with MOTU Blast Attak.
I also had that micro machines case that is where I kept/played with my MM! 👍
I have my childhood fort kerium displaying all my 7' figures next to my new he man origins castle grey skull. I had that doc oc as a kid but sold it, thanks for the memories as always!
Tim Baron's art is awesome!
This is now my favorite toy hunt from you!
Hey Dan, in Milan there's a pretty interesting Toy Fair near the Linate airport: it's called "Novegro Borsa Scambio Giocattoli", it'd be great to find u there, it takes place every 3 months!
I think if you dyed your Mohawk orange, you'd have better luck? 🤔 Glad you scored the Skeletor!
I had the Darth Vader and R2-D2 mircomachines sets when I was younger, I would definitely buy them again for the nostalgia.
My mouth hit the floor seeing grump bear like that
2D Heroes is AWESOME! I picked up at Wickett from him at Kane County last year, def want to grab another one this year!
Wow! Your channel is so big now they named a whole town after you!
That's why when I see something I want & need I don't wait I get it. lol Better luck next time Dan😂
Love the Toy Hunts, Dan. Thank you.
Great video I love your toy hunts there always thrilling great job
If your still in Danville you should eat at the Mayberry Cafe. It’s a Andy Griffith themed restaurant that plays the show all day long on tv’s.
I can't believe how much carded stuff there was... and how not expensive that zartan was. I can't imagine with how chaotic life is keeping things that old in such mint condition.. I have just a couple toys from my childhood and that's it.. all are lost in the ether of time somehow.
I had that Atomic Arcade Pinball. It was great!
I think almost everyone becomes too stingy with their $$ at conventions, even Pixel Dan!!🤣🤣🤣
Those cutout motu were so cool!
Awesome job dan.
Those 2d cut out figures were awesome, but I didn't see a link and can't seem to find them on Google. I would love to throw them some support.
Yeah a replacement Creepy Santa!! I bet Steena is so excited 😂. What is the your giant Skeletor 2D art made from? It doesn’t look like wood, but the sign said they were outdoor ready?
Red Banana? Where the hell'd you get that red, banana, at?
Well, people remember off colored fruits and things shaped like bananas.
@@redbananaartbydavidclark It's a Mitch Hedberg joke. Bananas are the opposite of traffic lights. Green means stop, yellow means go ahead, and red means, where the hell, did you get that banana at?
How much was the fort kerium ? Great showing there with silver hawks as well. Thanks.
Awesome finds 😊
Man I remember that WCW sting I used to have it as a kid
Looks like that Brave Starr box art with the flying red crystals inspired the MOTU card designs... prove me wrong.
Bravestar was after MOTU...so there's your proof.
I'm not into Batman and Robin series but I gotta admit, those figures looks radical in their chrome paint.....
Nice toy hunt!

Happy for u that u got that r2d2 micro play set
i still have my Ninja Force Zartan AND his card, but not ON the card. He's my fave of that group.
Cool video. Are you going to be at C2E2?
Meraviglia, un saluto dall'Italia ❤
Amen touch down yes you got the big Skeletor.
I still have my micro machines playset, my son loves it also.
Would be funny if he gets some of those sold items in the mail from a couple of viewers 😅👍🏽
hahaha let that be a lesson, that you buy it when you see it, if you want it so much 😂
BRAVESTARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Are you coming to the retro toy con in Greer sc this year??
No lie, my wallet would have spontaneously caught on fire at this show. This was some quality stuff on sale, especially that Fort Kerium!!!
ThunderCats bin gave you paws..
Micro score.
S/o to RedBananaArt
Dan, you should check out Mcfarlane The X-Files movie toys!!! I got almost all of them!!!!
Lesson learned: buy it wen u see it first instead of waiting for it, chances are, there is someone else who likes it as much as u do.
i wander if they created the monster or gargoil after the looks of Hordac from the Masters of the Universe. or MOTU line.
No bro, why did you open it? Lol. That R2-D2 is awesome.
On one hand, your collecting was kept under control by some powers that be, missing out on those gems...On the other hand, it just wasn't your day XD At least you got some cool stuff regardless \^^/ Another great video, sir!
Dan please come out with your own brand of figure cases...I want a Pixel Dan He-man, Star Wars and K.O. Case. The Special Spencerman Case!!!

After travel, lodging, food, booth fees, and Skeletor cutouts, does anyone make money from cons?
