I'd be surprised if all the pieces weren't sold by now , amazing transformation ! I like the tint restorer , didn't know a product like that was out there ! Really good to sit down relax and watch my favorite channel, I hope all is well for you Miss Flips 💕
I finally found someone that doesn't just flip, but put this "artist" vibe into it, and I am using artist in the sense, that I wouldn't qualify you as a flipper. You find your chosen medium to put art on it (and yes repairs and paint). But the thank you is because I have been looking for weeks on exactly the type of art you are doing (symbolistic I would say, I also grew up n a culture with a lot of intricate symbolic design: Celtic culture). And I was looking on what was on the market for putting actual line, especially with masking tape, because, I am starting on flipping but on the other side of the pond. And since I had a LOT of time to learn beforehand because someone decide to squat my belly without asking, so working with chemicals while having this little guest growing up was obviously a no-no... But I finally can start and when we bought our house, they left EVERYTHING IN IT... Crazy! So I have A LOT of full on wood furnitures to start on. And in France, you can easily find old-ish furnitures (50 and younger years old) for free, and not many people flip so... As always, the trend is nonetheless coming here as well. And honestly, all I could find on TH-cam, especially the famous flipper TH-camrs was typical flipper (nothing wrong with that but why not more of handmade designers). I am personally more aiming at being an "flipper artist" with free hand ORIGINAL drawing, but all I could find was flipper that was either slapping paint or not but not much creativity as drawing went or flipper that were using Stencil and other pre-made decor (which are expensive on top of not being what I want to do all the time). I even search for "taping tape drawing", but no furniture flippers... SO the main thing is Big Thank to show how you use the taping tape to make yours ideas a reality, and the different size in tape also (they almost don't exist in our store.. Yep, baffled me). But I can finally go forward while knowing a lot in terms of how to create original flipping - I would be very grateful if you did a non exhaustive list of the gold you used to draw, I'd like to find something similar to the one you used, and More tips on how you clean yours lines and other things like that. And, juste for the record, in my humble opinion, there are FLIPPERS and ARTIST FLIPPERS. To me you are definitely the later and not many are on TH-cam. So Keep going I am sure you will end up with a great career in this ;) As many people said, you have the little thing that is called talent, and you found your niche, BUT know that you could definitely just take a canvas and do your "MissFlips" drawings, put them up on Etsy and earn money! End of my Novel (and my first comment ever)
Wow! Thank you so much for writing all of this! I hope you find my videos helpful and are able to apply my methods to your own pieces. Thank you again for all your kind words ❤️
Your videos have been such a massive help for me, since I've only been getting into flipping recently. I adore your creativity when it comes to designing a piece, and you've inspired me to start working on one myself. I can't wait for the end result, and thanks to you and your easy to understand videos I'm sure it will be no trouble. Thanks for doing what you do, keep flipping and I'll keep watching! Best of luck and thanks from Croatia
Hi there I was watching one of your flips with the water damaged nightstands where you tried the paint over the can, if you drill holes around the inner rim it helps it drain the contents back into the can! Pro tip I learned!
@@TheMissFlips My grandparents had lots of furniture with those specks. When I helped them paint a room yellow using a roller....and saw the yellow flecks I figured out how they got there LOL. Since then I always cover up my furniture with sheets or drabcloths if I need to paint. T
Hi there! I'm in Australia. I haven't been able to find a gold paint even remotely as good quality as yours. What is it called? The gold paint here goes on transparent and sticky and lumpy. Completely hopeless!
That’s a great idea that I’m sure your clients would appreciate. Though, I’d message them after the purchase. Most people don’t take care of their pieces so knowing that they have to have a care routine may detour them from buying
I think they all looked great!!! I especially loved the last one for obvious reasons but well done on all!! I don’t see cheap at all on any of these:) i hope u had a fabulous vacay!!!! ❤
Been back home on Maui for the past month helping after the fires and then immediately got to painting my Partner’s parent’s kitchen. After that, I’ll get on itb
I hope all is well with you. I miss your videos, and I'm inspired by your creativity. Be safe.
Thank you very much! I have a new video out now :) th-cam.com/video/oLY2a7MuHRs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3vCHgcElJX1NY51P
I LOVE the two toned one!! Nicely done.
Thank you Jackie!!

How do you keep it from drying out?
Hi missflips, are u back from ur holidays yet? If so, when can we see more of your awesome work please?
I’m sorry! I’m back in my home of Maui helping my community after the devastating fires. I’ll be back later this month
The specks of white paint on furniture are usually from someone painting the ceilings or walls in a room. 😮
Ahhhh interesting!

Where did you source the white wax from... Looks great.
Home Depot :) or Amazon! It’s the bear paint brand
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🥰
When are we going to see some more flips from you please?
Working on one now!!

Oh man! Sorry to hear that. I use liquid gold leaf
@@TheMissFlips never knew that existed. Amazing!
When selling flipped furniture, is it a good idea to also give my customers instructions on how to care for it?
That’s a great idea that I’m sure your clients would appreciate. Though, I’d message them after the purchase. Most people don’t take care of their pieces so knowing that they have to have a care routine may detour them from buying
Being fast has no value if the workmanship is not there. Just saying... Wishing you the best!
For sure! That’s why I don’t do this unless I need to move pieces quickly. I price them to reflect that
Plastic wood is better than bondo for future reference
Good to know! Thank you!
nrver do things fast and cheap because they look that way espdeciall6y the 2nd one
you drestroyed the 3rd one
Lol thanks for the input
