Courage is the willingness to do God's will on your own accord.
We find ourselves in a place where we face uncertainty and difficulty. And yet, we are called to nonetheless move forward with courage. We walk by faith and not by sight. We choose to trust in God's Word more than our fears.

As a single mother I can really identify with moving forward into the dark without being able to see where we are going, but feeling safe with God the Father.
God will guide us
thank you Father Mike, I'm a father of a little 4 year old and I find difficult, sometimes sad and lonesome but after two years of finding God and his church and after 1 year of giving it my best attempt at right worship to the Lord in everything I do in every part of my life I have gotten better at trusting in Him when confusion, sadness and contradictions blur your vision and you don't know what will happen, I trust in Him more but I wish I trusted even more, his providence has never failed me. I don't know you but you have done so much for the Lord and you have helped his children, even the lost ones like myself. God bless you and Happy Father's Day to all the dads in the world, specially to those that are not very good or proud fathers, because you guys are still fathers nonetheless and you can start being better men every day a little bit better

What an amazing Homily, Father Mike. Me being a single man, an immigrant who just settled down in Canada, and a new Catholic at 30 years of age, there are many uncertainties in my life; look around, I also see the painful fallenness of our world, but I often find prayer and Bible reading can always deeply console me when I am not at Mass or in church. I also turn to our Blessed Mother, and I would talk to her, and pray the rosary. I feel very helpless at times but the Church's rich tradition, and our Lord can always lift me up and make me content, and peaceful. Besides, the homily of a great priest like you also inspires me! God bless.

Thank you Fr. Mike for another beautiful Mass and Homily. Please pray for my son Ronnie who is recuperating from a bleeding ulcer and a blood clot in his leg. Please pray for me as I have significant pain from arthritis but most severe in my low back. I need an answer as to whether surgery will give me pain relief. The Dr. Is not sure it give me pain relief enough to help me become more active again. Thank you Fr. as I trust in your prayer and Faith in Jesus Christ. God be with you.❤🫠🙏🏻🙌

Thank you Fr. Mike for your sermon. I am listening to you every now and than from Poland and I really appreciate Your preaching although I have a lot of powerful priests in my country. In PL we celebrate the Father's Day every year on the 23-rd of June which is not always on Sunday. For the Mother's Day we have a fixed day as well - on the 26-th of May. May God bless you and give you strenght and perseverance for Your Ministry now and in the future. The world is changing and sometimes one can be afraid if it is the right direction it is going in but I firmly belive God is in control of everything. Thank you again.

Oh wow. Talk about getting what you need when you need it. This is the biggest chunk of encouragement I've received in a long time while being in the midst of a very challenging matter. And all I could think was, I'm losing this battle. I must a control freak to keep going. It's not going to work out. God will say no., doesn't approve. Why is the legal process going so slowly
without changing for the better?
Then this awful and homely tells am going in the right direction simply by keeping going, I do actually have courage when I feel like I have none.
And it's fine example of walking by phase, not by sight that Father Mike pointed out. Thank you God for stepping in to my mess.

God is good and has shown me his love, at this moment im in the middle of my cancer treatment, i will start chemo July 2nd and im so afraid, but here i am listening to this homily and it feels like it was written for me and what is in my heart. Thank you Father Mike for being a vessel and guiding us on this journey. Please pray that I am healed of this cancer and am allowed to see my sons grow up to be adult men. 🙏

Dear Fr. Mike and crew,
I don't even know where to start. Our six year old son was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of last year. Because he has been immunocompromised due to chemotherapy, we have not been to Mass since then. Fr. Mike, you have been our priest every Sunday. You have preached to our hearts during some of the darkest days we have known as a family. You have spoken to our suffering and have been a guiding light through your homilies. At the end of Mass, when you often say to your online congregation, you are not alone, we are praying with you and for you, it is us you are speaking to. We always pray for our dear circle of priest friends and it was with great joy I added you to our nightly prayers. God bless you and all those who make it possible to have online Mass on Sundays!

I feel the need to thank you Father. I feel such gratirude for the guidance I have recieved from you. I have not only found my way back to God, in large part because of you, but also the words of Father Pine, Father Mary and others. Not only back to God but back to the Church I thought I had no place in because of the choices I have made. I garnered the courage to see a priest locally (funny how I have returned to my childhood Parish). I am now preparing for my first confession in 50 years with the help of your pocket guide. I dont have the words to adaquetly express my gratitude.

Jesus gives me the courage and the strength I need to overcome any obstacles. As a single mom I’ve been struggling to support my children both are special needs. As I struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay my bills Jesus has never left my side. There is always a miracle around the corner. I have faith that Jesus will continue to get me through this. Faith over fear.💕💕
