Last night I was in a pub with mates and the Mrs and had a fucking buzzin night no masks, no dickheads and people drinking, playing pool, laughing, listening and talking about music and having a great time. Well I’m watching it for about the 15th time this evening, can’t get enough. Reminds of having no worries and enjoying life...when I was a kid.
I've just heard the original song again and can honestly say I prefer your covers. Especially the rawness of this one. They were one of my mum's favourite bands when I was a kid, reminds me of caravan-ing in Warwickshire.
Always come back to this when feeling a bit down, it's a wonderful attempt at an upbeat waterboys classic, just a regular lad that's had a few scoops and enjoying himself, go on son 🙌🙌
