The reactions ended too soon. You missed that part where they get they get killed and have to reload 2-4 times before finally figuring out how to beat it.
I beat it on my first try, but it was still a slog (Prayer was really handy from Aerith for conserving her MP for using offensive magic rather than needing to use it for healing, as was Chakra on Cloud). I had managed to inadvertently make myself very hard for the Hell House to actually get down to red health (and even if it happened, I could get myself healed up really fast). Still became more of a headache the longer the fight dragged on, especially once it started flying and keeping itself out of Cloud's reach.
@@gamester512 That sounds rather complicated I just grinded levels before heading to the Wall Market and then once I was up to the Hell House bit I just spammed square and beat it under 5 minutes with no casualties
It was the first time I actually had to use a Phoenix Down(I think I ended up using 3 before the battle was over). The only battle I had more trouble with was the Top Secrets battle simulator, that is also the only one it took multiple tries for me to get past. Even the final two story battles were not as challenging.
the best part is that this was actually just a generic enemy in sector 6 in the original Final Fantasy 7. It was just both so strangely hard to beat and so buck wild looking that they brought it back as a boss and a ton of people who played the original remembered it.
It was more of the fact that in the OG it would usually come out when you almost at the end and were at low health then bam, it came out and you think you can beat it then it eats one of your guys and kills the other and then game over.
Yep! I'm happy to fight them when I'm trying to get my 2nd for that limit lvl. Only, it's usually the damn Whole Eaters when I'm doing that and when I'm needing multiple kills to get the next lvl limit it's always the single Hell House lol

It's amazing people are just pissed it's not the full game. The game is beautiful and full of passion

The second I entered the scrap area in my play through I expected to encounter it. But this, this is true justice for the hell house.
Everybody remembered it. It's probably one of the most famous non-recurring mob in the saga.
For all that Don Corneo is a sleazeball...the man knows how to entertain people. I will give him that much credit.
Totally, this is the perfect surprise fight for the audience to enjoy!

Hell House was not the weirdest enemy in FFVII. That was Heavy Tank, aka the Tankceratops.

i find it confusing that people say "omg! not the house! i'm dead!" when in the OG the house was EZ =/

It was the more difficult of the regular mobs in that part of Midgar. If you weren't careful it could do a bunch of damage.
It was a tanky regular enemy with 450hp and high defense when the other enemies were 60-100hp.
Hell House was great for limit farming early.
