Season 1-3 had more mystery and questions while season 4 had the answers. Season 4 ties everything together. I think all 4 seasons were good or great

Honestly, I can't wait for it to get animated. I want to see how it looks, how it looks animated. They're definitely going to have to use CG for the rumbling. I never had a problem with how they used CG tho.

Exactly, I respect Suzy's opinion since she was respectful about it, but as someone who loved this season I don't get how someone can watch it and think it's the weakest yet just because it's not that action heavy. All this word building and story development is so interesting, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

@@corusameoccasum1274 I just don't completely understand her point of view. She knows that it's unethical/unfair (you name it), yet she's fine with it just for the sake of getting rid of the titans. There are more ways to give an end to the titans tho. This plan only serves the interests of Marley.

Well Suzy, once part 2 starts, so much happens in the first 5 to 7 episodes. Its literally a rollercoaster especially in chapters 121, which episode wise that would be episodes 21 or 22. Your mind is about to be blown away

season 4 is defo a lot but it’s the most complex it took aot to another level to the point is weren’t just about eradicating Titans . It introduces lots of themes that you can analyse in a political and social aspect I mean that’s maybe just me I loved aot
I agree that this season is definitely the most complex, but at the same time that could be a good or a bad thing for different people. For me, I don’t mind a complex narrative sometimes that has nuance but if it gets to the point where I can’t root for literally anyone then my interest kinda wanes and I wonder why I’m watching it anymore.
You keep saying getting rid of the titans, but it's really getting rid of all the Eldians with the side effect of removing the titans.
Not to mention it won't do anything to end wars, or bring world peace in general, specially now that conventional weapons are on the brink of surprising titans. All it'll do is whipe out an entire race for nothing
@@omarcarrero3623 not to mention the eldians on the continent would immediately get wiped out because they're not needed anymore. The titans were going to be useless anyway after like 50 years or so. The rumbling would also be useless after other countries develope nuclear weapons in like 20 years (since aot is ww1). Paradis has to act NOW

first of all, Season four is comparable to season 3 in terms of quality after being dipped from season 2. Season 1 was good, but it isn't season 3 good.
Euthanizing: this plan will work, only, and only if the will of the founder allows it. Remember, they need the the founder to be connected to someone from the royal blood line to gain access to the founder's abilities(for which we don't know how much of those abilities will work for the chosen titan.) In other words, the only sure way this will work is if someone from the royal blood line will take up the founder, assuming that the founder doesn't wipe everyone's memory and over takes its will, as it often does.

I personally think aot gets better as it goes on. I’m someone who loves the heavy, political turn it takes in later seasons but obviously not everyone does. Also this show will always hold significance for me as the first anime I ever watched

Been watching your reactions since Naruto Shippuden, AOT is just something else. Now we have to wait till december. I have read 5 chapters for part 2 then I decided to wait for the anime. I suggest watching "Your Lie In April". I think you will love it since it has a touch of romance, comedy, less toxic and very wholesome. Thanks for the great reactions!

what is up everyone and welcome back to more attack on titan. I am here with my reaction to season 4 episode 16. so, the last episode was insane....
we will miss that for a while.
Unfortunately the thing that makes it tough for Gabi is her own stubbornness. Being as young as she is, it ought to be easier for her to adapt to the idea that all absolute narratives prove themselves to be unreliable when held up to reality. In order for her to succeed under the circumstances that she was born into she had to invest huge amounts of belief in the role that she chose for herself. Even if the situation in Marley had been sustainable, this kind of rigid belief system will inevitably become problematic, leading to, what we call, 'personality disorders' as everything becomes about protecting the beliefs at any cost. Her friend has been much more able to see reality without needing to filter it all through a set of beliefs and so has a better understanding of what role belief systems play in shaping reality. He embraces curiosity and allows his experiences to effect his understanding. Most people are like this when young but surrender, at least partially, to some external narratives as they get older, for the sake of a simple life
Zeke can control the Titans. He was controlling the three running with him, and he probably controlled the one that put him in their belly
My theory armin cried bc he understood that eren wouldn't go with Zeke's plan he wanted to find freedom not to kill everyone. the meeting with mikasa was to tell her to find herself not to break her feelings. I like your reaction and thoughts about the season but I can't understand why you rate it as the worst for you. I mean in S1 - 3 there was so much build up and mysteries which were partly revealed in S3 ep 19/20 with the big reveal of the outside world. And Season 4 now builds up the final arc and delivers answers to the previous seasons, Zeke's real intentions for example. So I don't know exactly what you are relying on. I myself think that S4 overall is the best Season so far but S3 part 2 the best section of the series.

I think the the reason why Season 4 is so different is because the major mysteries of the series were answered already. Season 4 part 1 is just trying to fit everything and transitioning to the big finale.
Paradise was primitive though. They were over a century behind all other developed nations.

After My Hero you should watch Hunter x Hunter for your next big series, Naruto also took some inspiration from it so there might be some recognizable stuff and the Dub is awesome too.
I think season 4 is hard to judge from where we are right now. In the first three seasons the main character and the perspective of the series is Eren and whatever unit he is in at the time whether it’s the recruits or the scouts. Eren is really still the main character here but we aren’t getting the story from his perspective right now. We are only seeing things through the eyes of the scouts and they spend the season in the dark and reacting the actions of Eren, who seems to have plans and motives unknown to the rest of the scouts. They are being used by the author as unreliable narrators. It’s really a jaunting shift to have Eren remain the focus but not know what he’s thinking to the point where the viewer is forced to wonder whether or not he’s the villain. It’s just so different from what the rest of the series has been. In the manga, readers only had to wait for the next chapter to be released the following month but the anime has created somewhat of a problem for itself with the release schedule. The mystery surrounding Eren is necessary for effective storytelling but I think the lack of answers and any sort of resolution for him in this episode is causing anime only people to feel a bit unfulfilled and pretty meh on season 4 as a whole right now.
This is exactly how I feel and it's why I believe Season 4 is the worst season of Attack on Titan even though it's still pretty good. At least in Seasons 1-3 it was still exciting to watch because it had intense battles and compelling mysteries. The opening and ending songs were epic and the main characters had clear goals. But here, it's so frustrating with a thousand characters and factions with their own agendas, seeing the protagonist have a 180 degree shift in personality for seemingly no reason and having the main characters (and thus the viewer) kept in the dark for most of the season. The tone of the show also suddenly got ten times more dark and hopeless. We end season 3 with the characters finally reaching and enjoying the sea for the first time and start season 4 with a child soldier bombing a train in a war then switch to one comic relief character getting killed by the same brainwashed child and the other being so stressed out from having to deal with a civil and global war that she has become a broken shell of her former self. Historia is told to turn from a strong leader into a glorified baby-maker or titan to save her people. Pacifist characters like Armin are seen as naïve at this point for not just being okay with murdering everyone on the planet but the only two options Eldia is given are to destroy the world or themselves. It just looks and feels nothing like the first 3 seasons because the scale and complexity is huge now. It might as well be a whole other show entirely. I'm sure that Season 4 Part 2 will at least provide me with entertainment (and answers), but I'm afraid like with most works, it won't ever reach the level of what came before.

The beauty of Attack On Titan is it causes you to think like Pain from Naruto. “The justice I have inflicted upon the Leaf is not different than what you are trying to do to me, everyone knows the same pain in losing someone dear.”
Gabi is a prime example of what Pain was talking about. She had her home destroyed because Eren wanted revenge, which resulted in the death of Sasha, which almost resulted in the death of Gabi. Aka the cycle of hatred.
Fans compare Gabi to S1 Eren and I agree. There’s Pain on both sides. Good thing Pieck was there for her… I know she killed Sasha, but still, I don’t believe she meant to cause so much pain.

I read in a article....... That manga fans are demanding for changing the Aot ending..... So I think ending will be like another Got ending..... So my hopes are not high..... I'm expecting a worst ending possible, so that I don't get disappointed later thinking the ending will be mesmerising.....
I won't spoil you but i will say that people like her will find the ending to be perfect while other people like myself found it to be an assassination of the story.
I consider those fans are not really fans at all, not respecting others people work and they just want to satisfy themselves.

i highly suspect that whatever Eren has in plans, he definitely cooked it up with Historia....both of their characters are the ones who changed....Historia seemed so depressed and seems to have given up and Eren seems the same....i think Eren and Historia probably stumbled upon the secrets of the Titans and they felt that their world is pointless or something else that made them give up on everyone.....i think we will definitely see what's up with Historia and Eren in the second half

It's so crazy that going into the final act, I am completely behind Reiner, Peick and Galliard, and completely against Eren. I'm sure they're going to pull a swerve on us somewhere and make me change my mind again (because this show is just that good), but I'm blown away how well this show has twisted my loyalties. Amazing stuff!

I thought the final chapter was very "ok". But it did destroy some character development for a certain character and had some dumbass plot points. So I thought not reading it at all is probably a better ending. Leave it up to the imagination.
