    I know you don't appear to like too much praise, Kevin...but, I have to say this: you are my photographic hero. Your photographs are just brilliant...they are the photographs that I continously try to emulate in my own photographic journey. Thank you. You're my inspiration and I'm so glad that you are. Keep on keeping on...

    You're the best wedding photographer I know but this is my first look at your street photography and I'm so impressed. May I say it's more relax and obviously fun and also more creative while still being essential and something you want to leave behind for the future generations. In other words something that matters like all your photography. Thanks for sharing and congratulations. Cheers!

    I’m studying the masters. This month I’m taking a no credit class on the French Impressionists and post Impressionist painters. I’ve loved them for a while. Recently I’ve seen how many of their paintings are like street photography. Maybe that is why I’m such a big fan.
    Less than a week for the X100VI announcement. I’m going to preorder.

      Most "rules" of composition are based on the great work of the Impressionists. The Last Super is often regarded as the bases of well though composition.

    Interesting video, for me tip 2 is crucial. We are lucky to live in a society which has the freedom to take photographs in public.
    But there are an increasing amount of photographers (auditors) using cameras and drones to deliberately annoy and intimidate people to get a reaction for their TH-cam channels. I believe that this may have an impact on our freedoms in the future if it continues or gets worse.

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I 100% agree Mark. I hate all of those "I can do what I want in public" videos. They will drive the artform underground - all for the sake of digital vanity.

    You've again created a beautiful and inspiring video.
    I photograph with the XT5, an amazing camera. For my assignments (backup camera), I want to have a second camera. The X Pro 2/3 are great and beautiful cameras. I also have the X100V myself.
    What would be wise to do? Wait for the X Pro 4 to come out, or purchase an X Pro 2 or 3, or maybe go for another XT5? I honestly don't feel a strong connection to the XT series cameras.
    What would you do?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure I would wait for the X-Pro4. We have no idea when that will come. And then what.... wait for the X-T5?
      I'd be more tempted to see what happens to the X100 line.
      Thanks for the kind words.

    How do you set autofocus when shooting Fujifilm cameras? And do you use aperture priority mode when shooting weddings and portraits?

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on what I'm shooting. For Street, I'll often use Zone focusing. Weddings I'll generally use single spot. AV sometimes, but if the light is good, I'll set it to fully manual.
