If this Punisher would’ve had better head and neck range, it would’ve made my top 10 for the year. Bushwacker on the other hand, he’s on my bottom 10 for the next decade.
I'm not a huge fan of Bushwacker, but I remember him as a boss from the Punisher arcade game. He was also a boss in the THQ Punisher game on the PS2. He seems like a cool cycborg villain at the end of the day, albeit a freakishly unrealistic one. Enemies like him make it clear that the Punisher doesn't get the respect he deserves. He isn't just "another guy with guns" if he can take on cyborgs and other criminals with powers.
I think bushackers hair and design is great. He’s a psycho ex cia guy with a 90s dipshit haircut it’s really cool. The figure is what it is. But he’s like a human cyborg sadist guy it fits as someone for punisher to beat up.
the challenge with Punisher is the fact he has so few reappearing villains...so that is a big reason for Bushwacker. I have always found him a unique character. Not the best, but at the same time he is fitting for a foil against Frank. Also Random should have been given this arm gimmick as well.
Bushwhacker has always been very strange and his entire gimmick always creeped me out as a kid. As it has been said, I'll wait for a single release of Frank.
Never heard anyone say they are a fan of Bushwacker, very few seem to even know who he is. I don’t care about him, he doesn’t even look cool but then I only know him from games. I do like this look for Punisher a whole bunch.
Dirty (but expected) move from Hasbro by releasing such a requested figure coupled with BUSHWACKER. Hopefully I can get Punhiser down the line if it ever gets re-released.
The limbs on this punisher figure are a bit bigger and sculpted slightly differently from the vulcan figure and the forearms have an overlay for where the gloves would be which isn’t on the vulcan body which makes me think in the future they’ll just swap out the lower forearm piece depending on what figure they’re making
Qs of the Day: I couldn’t care less about Bushwhacker, and since I wasn’t jonesing for a new Punisher, I passed on this one. My favorite version of the Punisher is his first appearance look. I always loved it when the bullets/“teeth” were “in scale” with the rest of the skull rather than the elongated (albeit more popular) style you see here. I’m not big on sculpted textures. Like you. I’m happy with a few simple wrinkles.
Yea I like bushwhacker and he’s a decent punisher villain. Am I happy it’s in this 2 pack? …. I’ve had worse from legends this year there’s been some 2 packs so bad I couldn’t even bring my self to get them even on discount.
I don't think that's the Vulcan body on Punisher, its similar, but it's a newer slightly bigger mold, plus the different articulation in the trunk. I do very much enjoy this Punisher figure, though I do look forward to the inevitable repaint with white gloves/boots. My main criticism for Punisher is small, I'd have preferred if they had applied a different finish/sheen to his gloves/boots, to differentiate them more from the rest of his costume. If you look at the actual comic art from the War Journal comics, they applied different colors for shading to his costume, more grey for his main suit, more blue for the gloves/boots, which seems to imply the gloves/boots are supposed to be a patent leather or vinyl material, a glossy material, to contrast to the more matte cloth of the suit.
I’ll wait for the inevitable single release of the Punisher, bet you anything they’ll do a classic white and black Punisher as a standard release or on a retro card. Personally I prefer Punisher with the black suit with grey gloves and boots.
Thought about getting more of this set because I need 2 more Punisher and I could use 2 more Bushwacker to get a Villain. Only reason I haven't is because rumor is there are going to be more Punisher this year.
You're wondering how to fix the loose leg problem that it has remove the legs with warm water or a hair dryer and then just dab some super glue on the crotch piece where that dumbbell meets the crotch and it will stiffen it up pins aside this works 😂
I ordered this two pack despite not being a Punisher fan and not even knowing Bushwacker, but what got me was the ton of accesories. I could easily see Hasbro giving Bushwacker just with the cannon arm and Punisher with no gun or two reused ones that didn't match the character
Hopefully this punisher is a sign of ml going better direction. This body is aesthetically so much better than the vulcan and the ballpeg up top even if not executed amazingly makes the figure just look better than an ab crunch and swivel. I like the spandex suit punisher but the one with the trench coat from the ps2 game was cool too.
I find it so strange how Hasbro do 2 packs of human figures that have different POA. I know it's because they reuse parts but I feel as though you shouldn't be able to buy 2 in 1 pack that feel like they're from different times.
I like this 2 pack, but I wish it had come with the Russian instead of Bushwacker. Would have been more satisfied with the $60 i spent. That being said, I'm happy they're actually making Punisher figures and villains. They're pretty much the only Marvel Legends I'm still interested in buying.
First video of the new year and of course it's a Marvel Legends review! Kinda funny and definitely a cope for clowns to say you always hate these figures, which proves they don't watch your videos! Haha, HNY!
I genuinely wanted a Bushwacker figure to fill out the ranks of characters featured in the Capcom Punisher arcade beat 'em up, so this was a rare occasion of a 2-pack where I actually wanted both characters! Bushwacker's design doesn't really match the game but he's close enough for me considering I wasn't really expecting to get a figure of him in the first place. I do think he's too small and the huge noggin kind of ruins the overall look as usual with bigger guys in ML, but considering the Hasbro standard of 50% of any given 2-pack being a complete waste of plastic he's well above average for me! I prefer Punisher with white gloves and boots, but otherwise this is exactly the look I want for him. Sleek bodysuit, big bright skull, white headband. I'm looking to customize my figure with some parts from the recent SHIELD 3-pack to better suit my tastes, but even out of the box this is a great figure by ML standards and about as good a Punisher figure as we could expect to get from them IMO.
I like the sculpted cloth texture, personally. Yet, I prefer it more on DC characters like Batman or Supes than I would on say, Spider-Man or Cap…if only McFarlane could do it right and consistent across the figures

I prefer the black with white gloves and boots punisher. The skull logo also looks better on that classic one, imo(the squinted eyeholes on this one don't appeal to me that much). This one isn't bad, just not really what I want punisher to look. The calm face is good, don't care for the bandana, but the yelling head always looked off to me with the giant mouth and weird eyes. Would like shorter, sling back hair, and snarling/ teeth gritting alternative head. Also think the lower part of the skull should have been part of the sculp and not seperate piece. 12:42. I disagree, I honestly think that this setup is great on figures. Unfortunately, whoever is charge of implementing these decisions regarding the tooling of the articulations, are either crap at worse or baffling at the least. The ball within the lower torso sits *way* to close at the hip which limits the mobility of the stem, causing it to be needlessly long to compensate for movement. It also has way too much plastic surrounding the stem, which limits its mobility even more. Instead off a ball, they put a stump in the figure's chest, so you get no movement whatsoever in upper half of the body, instead it's more of a shift. That's my main issue with this figure, they've essentially implemented a loose type gear shift movement in the torso and combined it with an ab crunch. If they can just correct how they do this articulation setup then this figure would be almost golden! I say almost because I've given up on them making a decent double ball neck joint that actually works properly. Which is confusing because their mcu quicksilver is their best one yet, Dormammu and Red skull are so so but, are still better than their recent ones, especially after modding them to give them better movement in the neck.
I don’t really collect marvel legends but especially not two packs like this because nearly everytime I’ve seen, one of the figures has pinless joints and the other one doesn’t, I don’t actually have a preference between them but just like pick one please, the inconsistency makes it seem even cheaper and lazy
Do you plan on reviewing the new Secret Wars wave of figures eventually? I think those are quite interesting, especially the Wolverine for not so good reasons imo.

I got my Frank a soft goods trench coat and he just looks amazing. There is one on Amazon for
Bushwhacker is very Cronenberg inspired, specifically drawing inspiration from the film Videodrome.

This punisher design existed well before PlayStation.

Thomas Jane by a country mile
I would recommend using Bushwacker’s fingerless gloves hands on punisher, makes it look so much better.
The whole reason the Vulcan body has the split in the forearm is to be able to use different parts from the glove down.
