As an ex-Christian, I remember the bible has a verse about Tahajjud in Psalms 119:147 says "I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word." yet we don't know exactly what time is it or it is not encouraged in Christianity to wake up for the prayer. I am 70 and by the help of our Rabb, for the past 20 months, Allaah has enabled me to wake up for Tahajjud and I am eternally grateful as I know only a short time is left and He has blessed me to wake up. Allahu Akbar. May Allaah keep me steadfast, In Sha Allaah as I hope to meet Him and our Rassool, In Sha Allaah. Ya Allaah give us and not deny us!
Our master...the one and only super being who is aware of our past and our future , the only superior being who can change our destiny , the only merciful superior being who is closer to us than our own mother's ....Allah comes down from heaven during tahajjud to see if anyone wants anything . Alhumdulillah. Tahajjud is a precious gift from Allah Swat that's a pure source of tranquility, a healing for wounded heart, soul and body. One anecdote I'd like to share, it's because of Allah's mercy that he showered on me during tahajjud that my cat Gucci has been cured from his sickness miraculously when I could see no hopes. Allah knows very well, my cat is just like a baby to me ☺️My lord has been kind to me as my duas were accepted on several ocassions during tahajjud. I love my Lord with every cell in my body. I'm not perfect but I try my best to worship my creator in the best manner. Alhumdulillah I'm always excited and often wake up for tahajjud to meet my lord, not only to share my requests wit Allah, but also tell Him how grateful and happy I'm for my accepted duas . But all I manage is cry with gratitude as I m lost for perfect words to express my feelings. But I know my lord knows already what I feel in my heart. I do have many more requests, I'm sure and I have faith my lord will grant them at the right time. My lord has never disappointed me. I'm happy for the affliction I went thru, it only got me more closer to my Lord. On this blessed day of Friday I pray that Allah swat grant health, peace, happiness and long life to our parents and accept our duas. Jazak Allah for this video. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’” [Sahih Muslim 758b].
Alhamdulillah I'm 65 this April and I've been praying this third night several years but not contineous since what happened to our country were affected by the war and now we're here in Egypt for the time being again I came back to pray kiyam Al lyl and came back fasting every Monday and Thursday. When we were children our mother taught us 'early to bed, early to rise'. Subhannallah. Once the habit of rising early sets in, Alhumduillah it becomes a way of life.

Alhamdolilah , from the past few years I wake up every morning almost 40 min before fajar, today I heard somebody calling me and I wok up and prayed , alhamdolilah, this is honestly not my own hard work at all , if it would have been my choice I would choose something different , I feel very blessed and thank Allah , alhamdolilah , but I don’t know why is this , except that my Allah wants to pardon me , Allah wants me to invest my time in preparation so that Allah can forgive me , alhamdolilah
