My daughter told me about the family who passed. Our prayers are with you and their family . Yes we mamas worry about our kids. I'm an old person now, but when we were young ..the old folks told us ...when your kids are small they hang on your apron strings. But when they grow up they weigh on your heart strings. So true. I'm sorry to hear of your friends passing away! My oldest daughter happens to be on the road going back home as I type this. Her babies spend the summer with me and she picked them up to take them back. I understand your Mommas heart being worried!

The minute I heard about the family passing, I thought about you and your daughter traveling. Prayers for you and the family. I still have to let my mother know when I am traveling. Oh E I am so sorry to hear the sad news about your friends. Life is just too difficult at times. I lost my oldest daughter in Jan and my husband in April so I am grieving right along with you. Thank you for always brightening my days with your beautiful self and sharing your lovely artwork with the thousands of us who adore you even if you are having a bad day. I’m so sorry to hear about your friends, the Nelons. I’m like you and can’t turn my mind off when things like this happens. My husbands boss was killed in a plane crash out that way many years ago. I remember it took a very long time for them to investigate the crash and find out what caused the crash. God bless them.🙏🏻

Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. I was shocked when I saw the news as well. Very sad.
I've been upset about the plane crash since I heard about it last week. I've listened to the Nelons since they were the Rex Nelon family. I've always loved their music. I've just been sick over their loss in the Southern Gospel Music community. I'm sure you worry about the kids travelling and I hope they always let you know when they make it safe to their destination. It will give you so much peace. My son lives in another state and I worry way more than I should. Hugs and love to all. Terri

A momma always worries about her kids, mine are all grown and married and their's not a day that goes by that I don't think/worry about them. A friend told me once, pray for your children, their safety, their protection and leave it in God's hands, He will take care of them 🙏 So true and I do this daily but it's still hard not to worry. ❤ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, He doesn't allow anything to happen that He doesn't want to happen.

Mrs E, you are a woman after my own heart, I don't like eggs either, in fact I can't even watch anyone eat a runny fried egg. I almost gag, my sister doesn't like them either. We ate them as kids I think but in pancakes and baked goods. Anyway, I ordered the little flower & heart stickers & $60 worth or other stuff to use up my scraps to make paper clip flags, I need to have more stuff around my hubby says, bless his heart. I'll just make him a cake with eggs in it & he'll be happy. Thanks for the great idea and the chat. I saw that about the plane crash. That was horrible. I am praying for their family. I am praying for you as your kids are always on the road. I can only imagine how hard that is. My pastor has taught meto not worry ( as much) and instead to pray every time I worry. A lot

Edith, I loved the Nelons even when the dad was singing with them. It broke my heart when I woke up during the night Friday night and saw on Facebook about the place crash. I watched and shared a video by Todd, Kelly’s brother, today. He is worried about Autumn the daughter left behind. I also understand worrying about your own kids. I have two a 45 yo and a 41 yo. They will always be my babies and I’ll always worry about them. Love you and praying for peace and comfort for you. ❤

I hadn't even heard yet about the nelons. I sing at church too and play the piano and I have been listening to them along with the gaithers and all the rest for going on 53 years now. I sing their songs and will miss them all.
Another good thing for me to try. And another thing we have in common, I don’t like eggs either. Only scrambled with a lot of cheese.
