@@NasierrQureshi on multi visa im not sure but she has a QID and has metrash app, then feel free to apply for RP. Once RP is approved, then QID will be issued (post medical and finger prints).

Tried cargo immigration today for hayya with me to rp for my daughter without leaving qatar.. waited and was chased out saying it was done yesterday till 10am. And to try wakra or other. Now heading to wakrah.. as usual no immigration either says theres no such path way or that its possible...
Found the solution: metrash, go to visa services, open/close visa, enter hayya visa no and new visa no. Hayya visa no could be obtained from helpline 2022

Today my wife went to airport immigration and she is moroccan and i have extended her insurance for more 30 days and they said the A1 visa cannot be extended and you have to leave the country.
technically it doesn't seem like that would be possible. You can check near the end of the current visit visa whether they are allowing you to re-submit in Metrash2 - chances are low. Even if you can submit, I think rejection chances are high but worth a shot.

Yes Hayya A1 visa can be extended for another 30 days. First purchase health insurance for extra 30 days and then try to extend on the MOI website (link below). If this doesn’t work, then you have to visit immigration office near airport cargo, meet the captain and request for manual extension.

See if visa number is issued in metrash2. If so, it means case is with CID for security clearance and a response should come through soon

I had the same issue. I went to Souq Waqif and the cargo office, and they told me that exiting and re-entering the country is required

Tried cargo immigration today for hayya with me to rp for my daughter without leaving qatar.. waited and was chased out saying it was done yesterday till 10am. And to try wakra or other. Now heading to wakrah.. as usual no immigration either says theres no such path way or that its possible...
As per video, first apply RP and get approval. Once approved, then goto Duhail Immigration Hall 6 for conversion. Simple
Found the solution: metrash, go to visa services, open/close visa, enter hayya visa no and new visa no.

For certain nationalities, u cannot convert to work visa as you have to do medical from home country. So that won’t be possible

technically it doesn't seem like that would be possible. You can check near the end of the current visit visa whether they are allowing you to re-submit in Metrash2 - chances are low. Even if you can submit, I think rejection chances are high but worth a shot.

Yes Hayya A1 visa can be extended for another 30 days. First purchase health insurance for extra 30 days and then try to extend on the MOI website (link below). If this doesn’t work, then you have to visit immigration office near airport cargo, meet the captain and request for manual extension.
