@Mark Johnson Thank you for this demonstration. I understood a lot of it but I got lost toward the end where you began discussing 100%. I really want to understand. At the beginning, you said you originally used the value of 10 so the robot wouldn't go crazy. What did you mean by "crazy"? Malfunction or just so it wouldn't drive off your video screen? When I practice for competition would I go back to the code and change 10 and -10 to 100 and -100 so that my robot will go full speed? Or do I always use the #10? Thank you for your patience with me.

I think you got it. Are you talking about when I wasn’t programming the controller? What you said sounds right. The joysticks on the controller will set the value from -100 to 100. Send me an email mark@mjstem.com and we can go back and forth so I can help you more specifically.

hi! we have chosen to build an x-drive, and i was wondering if you knew of any resources that would help us code 'move to point', or a strafe turn function?

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't have anything specifically for that... sounds like an interesting video idea. Tell me more :)

Are you possibly available for some questions/consulting? I am building my first robot from scratch and learning everything on my own time as I go. I need somebody that has some knowledge to tell me if what I’m doing and will try to do is stupid or not and what would be better routes to take to achieve my goal. Can compensate or what not if I take up much of your time.
