It looks well designed, it has torsion bar, and suspension that mimics. Some other designs I have looked weld 2 inch galvanized fence pipe. One think is some manufacture designs such as Ural have power to outer tire, though this would be for off-road at lower speeds. The paint coating is also good.

I can't help thinking that could have been designed a lot better. Seems like the whole thing could have been made with a much lower profile. The Tilting Linkage arrangement for example, could surely have been placed at the rear, meaning the Body could be sat much lower.
You do realize that a French manufacturer: Side-Bike made this in the early 90's, yes? The model is called Toro. I have a copy of the patent application that was emailed to me about 20 years ago. I don’t have that email. It was on a long dormant email account. All I have is print of it. Obviously, it is in French. .
No new video of the frame are planned because it has a full fiberglass body. It is a two piece body pop riveted together. Google Side-Bike Toro sidecar to see.
You mean how much did it cost in 1990-94 when new? I'll get back to you with that. I bought it used for (???) Maybe $1200USD it needed body work. Put another $2000 for body work and paint. It is not for sale. I have only seen one for sale in the last 20 years: in Europe I think. Maybe 14 years ago.
Send you the project? It's a factory manufactured product. Made in France by Side-Bike between 1990-94. Only 200 units built. This is the only one that I know of personally. It will not leave my possession. Sorry
any plans for this plz...i have an older suzuki RG250 hybrid (yamaha RZ 350 engined) ive oftren pondered a light weight sidecar outfit for it....RG250 is alloy framed BTW
Figured out how to access my original account. I have some documents that a German sidecar dealer sent me 7 years ago. I don't know how to load print to TH-cam. Sorry
Aaron, have been trying to get info like this on the Toro for ages, any chance you can share some more videos with close ups of pivot joints, body installation, etc. Thanks Daryl
The heim joints are enclosed in the body. I'd have to remove the sidecar, pull out the pop rivets, disassemble the inner tub and outer shell, remove the inner frame, reassemble the framework and reattach the same to the bike. I had no experience with any leaning sidecar prior to the Toro. I had no reallive person standing before me to discuss the issues I'd face as a Toro pilot. I had the framework attached to get short term, lightweight experience before the bodywork was done being fiberglass repaired and painted. I've seen pictures of Toro owners with no outer shell. Easy guess: an accident caused a lot of damage. The P.O. put a case of beer sized hole in the outer shell of my Toro prior to selling it to me.
Well, have you seen the other videos yet? Steady camera work but so what? One video shows the rig driving away followed by a couple of minutes of what the passenger sees. Explains nothing. The smartphone I had 7 years ago wasn't as advanced as the latest smartphones.
Sorry but I rarely visit. They were sold new by Side-Bike, a French manufacturer. Only 200 of these were produced between 1990-94. Three imported into North America. Mine was for sale by a private owner who lived in California.
Thank you! This is the best video I can imagine to show the more or less uniqe technology of articulating sidecars.
Make the next video. This is very interesting to learn.
I am retiring this month. I have no excuse not to make something happen. Look back in July

Đạt tiêu chuẩn liên kết kết nối, giảm xóc tuyệt vời. Ok.

Good job.
I need one for my bike.
I want to take a trip with my dogs...my best regards to you
Terimakasih ini sangat membantu saya 👍🏻
Interesting construction. But many moving components also mean many potential weak points

I do have some factory drawings but I don't know how to post them here
@@aaronelvishaefer1572 a quick video would work fine
Do you plan of filming footage of it riding around ? I'd be very interested to see a Toro in motion
Yes, forgive the huge lapse. Next summer, before I get too old (68 but YMMV).
How much side like this sir and where I can get 1 unit of this
It is not manufactured anymore. Production: c. 1990-94. Approximately 200 units built.
I am from Bangladesh, detail video please

Are plans available?
This was manufactured in the early 90's.

Do you still make these and sell them
I did not make this. It was manufactured by the French company, Side-Bike. Toro is the name of this model.
now thats how it should be done. 😊 good job
Great work!!!

Why can't I access my account?
Because TH-cam won't let you. Yes, it's me, the owner of the video and TH-cam won't let me in. Explain
Buen sistema.Interesante.

It's a manufactured product made in France. Google Side-Bike Toro sidecar
hola necesito planos gracias
This was patented by the French company: Side-Bike. They also manufactured the sidecar from 1990-1994.
Gracias
I don't understand, are you saying that I should translate everything that I typed?
You may have assumed that this is a home built design. It is not.

¿Traducir todo lo que dije al español? Imposible. No sé cómo.
NICE! Do you offer these sidecars for sale?
Sorry but I rarely visit. They were sold new by Side-Bike, a French manufacturer. Only 200 of these were produced between 1990-94. Three imported into North America. Mine was for sale by a private owner who lived in California.
Figured it out. Aaron H. is me, different email. Same answer.
The PILLOCK doesn't even know the difference between a SIDE STAND and a CENTRE STAND 🤣😂
Pillock here. Love the Toro sidecar that you have.
I think it's now wider than a car...
Nah, it's like 5ft wide max.
Sidecar body tilting is not good
Many orders of magnitude better/more useful than your crap comment.
@Maciej Jan Długosz Could you please elaborate? Why is a traditional sidecar better for offroad?
@Maciej Jan Długosz I see, that makes sense, thanks.
