You are genius. I am amazed.
Side cars are making a come back in USA. I bought a 2022 Harley Road Glide Special for the purpose of adding a side car to it. I have spoken with several manufacturer of side cars out here but no one builds side car to lean like yours do.
I think if side car would lean, it will be much easier on steering and turning.

it is a precise axle sliding in a brass bushing , that can be made harder to slide or easyer , something like a damper

My guess is the mounting bolts are too tight causing the action to bind.

my dampener bushing is too tight . needs some brake in !
