Hi mate. I ve used Picasso’s sleeves a lot. They leave a lovely finish. I did find the nap came away after a few uses. But lovely finish. Your walls need to be good , level. The frame you are using I call in the AK47 of frames. Because it’s simple and effective. Great combo you are using. Tikkurila vinyl Matt is brilliant. Americans have great kit. Get the pro form blaze angles amazing. How much better is the kit we have now compared to 10 plus years ago. Brushes, rollers and paints . Joy to work with. Good on you Daniel
Great gear. I have all the same kit. Used the tikki VM a month ago, very impressed. Optiva 5 is what I normally use when client want tikki, however it’s getting very expensive. I use Armstead durable Matt as a cheaper alternative. Great gear for the money.
Your right. Paint is so expensive now. But I always tell customers when pricing up that we're not a cheap trade anymore. We're worth the same as any other trade but we always seem to get customers wanting a top end job for a bargain price.
Just tried a 9 inch ice fusion this week, brilliant spray like finish, not the best paint holder but for the finish it gives i will persevere. However i will try one of those 9 inch Picasso sleeves, keep up the good informative work Daniel.
Dan, Useful video - what quality roller and sleeve would you suggest for a ceiling - 22 'x 16' - looking for a smooth finish for matt white? Room has 4 windows so massive light across ceiling..
Mate I'm using one of these as we speak but a 9 inch. Wooster are good and also Arroworthy 3/8 nap is about a medium pile but I like 9/16 nap as it's long pile microfiber holds more but lay it off and try and go in direction of light and roll one way if you can
Great for lids because you don’t go covered in specks. The brushes are good but not the best lasting brush I have used.
True mate on the brushes

Do they fit a purdy cage ok? And do the end caps stay intact as the arrowworthy one I used the caps came off so easily
End caps stay on. I'm pretty sure it's all standard as it fits on a Wooster cage too

Thankyou so much mate

Thank you for your help you were Great 👍👍👍😃
Cheers mate. Merry Christmas
Great finish. May I ask how do you stop filled areas showing as patchy/ slightly shinier than the rest of the wall?
Anyone notice the small holes in the end so the water drains out?
Great idea
Fantastic idea mate. I've ordered the 9 inch Proform cages so I'll review them aswell.
