Our patented design eliminates the need for a collector ring, blower and discharge chute found on traditional unloaders. Silage is gathered by the pick-up auger, transferred to the vertical auger where it is moved onto a belt conveyor from which it is discharged out of the silo.
Thanks Karen! A retrofit is a great way to reduce costs of an unloader upgrade. You can save time and money and still get a new unloader! If the customer chooses this option - and if the existing hardware can be used - we will install the main Spiromax Unloader components into the support structure of the unloader we are replacing as seen in this video. Yes, we do have a Spiromax Unloader booked for installation in a 30' diameter silo mid May.
