Absolutely the best video on this device.. I've been scouring the internet for info on thermal clip ons because I've never owned one before and know Absolutely nothing about them and I learned a ton from your video thanks for sharing your knowledge...
The scopes he shows in this video are stand alone scopes. AGM does make clip on thermal scopes though to be used with traditional scopes. I would recommend the dedicated stand alone scopes though.
I'm going to do a full review on the TS25-256 soon, which is nearly identical to the TS19-256 aside from the lens. But the main challenge with active scopes is preventing the batteries from losing contact during recoil. I can see AGM has tackled this by aligning the batteries perpendicular to the movement of recoil, and using a VERY strong set of springs at the battery contacts. The battery door is tough to close and there's a fine-threaded screw that gives you the leverage to close the door all the way, fully compressing the springs. I can see they put a lot of thought into the design there. I've yet to test it myself, but during my research when choosing a scope, I've found the Rattler series in general to be pretty durable in that respect, with no problems handling recoil.
Fellow small channel creator here... agm rattlers are awesome for the money but the iRay/infiray is incredible if you wanna spend more. All the rattlers have garbage battery life and and they also have a parasitic drain if you leave batteries in. Picture is awesome for the money and the optic is lightweight. Rangefinders have the kiss of death because they're IR laser based so anyone with night vision will pick you up.

Good information presented very well. Thank you
Thank you for this information!👍👍👍
Can any of the model be a clip-on Thermal? Like turn off the reticle and mount at front of rifle scope.

AGM makes clip on thermals. The clip on thermals start with "TC" to designate clip on. www.agmglobalvision.com/thermal-imaging/thermal-clip-on-systems

I DONT LIKE AGM .CANT PLOP IN FRESH BATTERIES ALL RECHARGE ONLY MAKING A 2 WEEK HUNT IMPOSSIBLE
Huh? It takes of the shelf CR-123 batteries, replace them however you like. You can even just use an external USB battery.
I bought 3 battery blocks
One dies plug in and go
I wonder if it works on a 3.7v battery?
It has the ability for external battery via the usb c port plus in between outings you can charge in your truck get real bro
