- Today I’m not only sharing some new-in favorites and a home update, but I'll talk through the 3 secrets to always create stunning and eye-catching outfits. The kind where others stop and think “I love her outfit…I don’t know why, but she looks amazing. The key is that you need at least one of these three “outfit components” to really take it to the next level. And even better, if it has all three you are completely set.

Wood Floor Stain PSA: If you have pets, children or use your floors, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go dark. You will see every spec of dust, hair and crumbs. Dark wood is super high maintenance and will need to be swept or vacuumed every day. Aside from that, you look AMAZing as always!!!!

Amazing Video ❤❤❤ so glad you're back. I really missed your fashion videos.
We have almost the same measurements but things looked different on you than on me, even if it was the same top in the same size.
What I realised is, i was an hourglass not a pear which made a huge difference, because if you're a petite but have a B+cup, anything that has a high neckline or puffy shoulders looked horrible on me.
I figured out it was because it made my breasts look bigger but not in a good way...more like it made me look heavier and shorter than I actually am.
A V neckline or any open neckline had a much better effect i found. Anybody noticed this too?
For floors, I would definitely recommend not very dark or shiny. I lived in one place with such floors and they would constantly look dirty (foot prints, paw prints, cat hair, dust).

i can't believe the western silver toe caps are back, my parents had a tack shop/western wear shop in the 90/2000's and we put them on boots all the time LOL.

I love the new video format! Z is so talented. With a white fur baby, a taupe brown shade for the floors would not only be beautiful and timeless IMO but also the most practical. Good luck with your home renovations and I can't wait to see what you end up doing.
Love your flooring choices. Our previous home in Charlotte, NC had red oak floors that were beautiful, but also too orange so we had them refinished and stained with an espresso color and they still pulled a bit red/warm (like my hair always does no matter how cool toned I try to color it), but it gave it so much depth and character and we loved them. Your home is beautiful. ❤

Such a lovely video altogether. Apropos the task of how to choose the floor color, I think it helps to think about this one funny question: Is your house a daytime or a nighttime house in terms of it’s vibe. We live in northern Norway where is dark most of the year. We Scandi’s are obsessed with light wood floors, but for me, that doesn’t lend itself to that good mood that a dark floor immediately brings to any room. There is a fallacy that dark floors suck out light from a space. Dark floors and dark window frames (but that’s for another design topic) ad character and chicness to nearly every space - especially it will to your glorious abode! Hehe, and that is also a great excuse to invest in a good Dyson vacuum cleaner as, yes indeed, the dust really does become an element‼️😅❤️

I was SO happy to see this kind of video from you again! I have followed you for a very long time and even though I am much older than you, you have been a huge inspiration to me. Actually your clothes videos have been important to me as I have lost an enormous amount of weight and have had to rebuild my wardrobe. Thank you Bethany! The Donni Pants are nice but I would go up a size in the cotton ones. They seem to bunch up in the crotch area. I actually just got a pair like the Donni's. While they didn't bunch up, going up a size was much more flattering.

I’m a small in these but I tried a medium and it worked too. Just depends how loose you want to wear them

I like the 50/50 stain mix best; I think the very dark shade would be overwhelming when used over such a large area, and will definitely show more white cat hair and other dirt/dust.

The dark floors will look so beautiful in your house!! In our last house we chickened out on dark floors and went mid-brown. You could still see all the pet hair. Honestly, wood floors show pet hair no matter what color they are. Go with what you love 💕 So happy to see you back!!
