    Very cool project. Looks awesome. So much nicer than the cheap plastic ones that always fall apart or get cracked when the lawn service runs it over with their equipment. Looking forward to making one like yours with a hose bib, etc. Thanks for putting that together.

    O My GOD I have been looking at the wood that wore away and all the dirt that caved in around the outside tap that is about a foot and a half down. I have never understood how to make a cement box surrounding it... seeing this I have the clues, the technology, the desire. building two boxes with no bottoms, clamp, spike it in pour the two bags of concrete cover with plastic and walk away till spring hahaha hahahaha a hem and Thank YOU. I think I even have two wine crates in different sizes but not by that much. I need to see the fix once I see it I can do this I'm pretty stoked to try this tomorrow...

    Awesome. I am about to do the same project. To start with I will have an 8 zone system. But I am leaving room for futire additions. I think I could end up with 12 zones and if I ever decide to do a garden or landscape flowers...even more.

    Do those filters need to be installed any certain orientation? Upright or upsidedown as you have them?

    • @YouCanDoIt2
      @YouCanDoIt2  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That is a great question! The orientation of the filter should not matter at all...as long as you have access to be able to open it up and clean out the filters. Water is forced through these filters prior to going through the sprinklers. Because of this force, it does not matter whether the filter is right side up or upside down, water will flow through it and catch microscopic debris prior to entering any sprinkler system. I hope that this information helps you out 👍.

    Have you had any trouble with the orbit valves breaking/leaking? I wanting to purchase one of these, but wanted to know the quality of it. Thank you!

      Hi Nate. Thank you for watching the video. I have used these Orbit brand valves and irrigation systems for about 20 years and I have no complaints at all. These are well worth the money and are not very expensive at all. To be honest, I have never tried any other brand, because I haven't had a reason to. I have built several homes and use Orbit for all irrigation. No issues. I hope that this information helps you with your project👍
