Approximately 4:44, it looks like both outer duals on the trailer axles ditch side need to be replaced unless that's an optical illusion. It looks like the tread is gone on the inside of that duals. Life lesson, the cops will always single out a trucker for a violation even if you're amongst a bunch of 4 wheelers. They make more money off the ticket if they give you one plus it gives them an excuse to pull an inspection. Though if the speed limit was 55 and you were only doing 63, that sounds more like a cop that is simply bored and looking for someone to harass. Furthermore, if they're totally blacked out rather they're in the median or on the side of the road, I don't think legally they can write you a ticket. The cops in my town tried that before and the judge threw it out for entrapment. This may be different for other states but I was under the understanding that this was a nationwide thing. My town cops thought they would be funny and hide behind buildings or in between vehicles totally blacked out then get all the violations. They got the shock when it went to court and the judge essentially told them to go fight some real crime and quit wasting his time.
A warning goes on the company safety rating I was pulled over in the same spot in New Mexico I was also given a warning That New Mexico state trooper hes actually pretty cool
A warning ticket without an inspection ticket for cdl holders is just a warning. It's a dud. If he did do an inspection then gave you a warning then he did screw you over.
I just use the internet on my phone. I don’t bother trying to use truck stop wifi cause it’s usually super slow. I have AT&T and that’s worked fine for me so far
Yes, but they’re only triggered if the truck makes any kind of drastic movements. Like slamming on brakes or hitting something. Sometimes it’ll go off if you hit a big bump or pot hole too
I am both a cop and a CDL License holder who drove a truck for a period of time. The safety guy must be trying to scare you or has no clue himself. No way a warning affects you at all with your license standing. It seems your mistake was telling the safety guy that you got stopped and given a warning in the first place; you created a record for yourself with Melton by informing him of that information. Warnings given by police officers do not get put on your driving record since there was never a summons to appear in a traffic court who would have sent in a disposition on any actual citation for speeding that is forwarded to the court. 🤐
It doesn't go against your Driver's license but it does go against your PSP score which also affects Melton's CSA score,that's what he is talking about can't be challenged
its better to get a damn ticcet than a warning, also a warning is points towards tour csa score, a warning is worse than s ticcet because u can fight a ticcet, idk who this cop is but he dont know shit

Next time cut the rope in 3 foot sections and tie to each of the D rings. Then slip knot tie to your anchor point. Ask any covered wagon and he can shaow you that. Much better than using one full length.

You're in the top 4% of drivers so you must be doing something right. Just gotta be careful out there. Things can go wrong fast in trucking.

Wrong! There is no such thing as a cdl holder record. Its called your state drivers license record and it does not stay on there forever.
