Hey Charlie you can also take a picture while you are video recording just start video and then touch on the camera beside the video button to the left while recording.
I was ready to call this a false messiah of "hidden features" of a phone like all others, BUT from the beginning, I had no idea you could create a shortcut for taking videos. Nice. Very informative video.

Every time I record a video on my Note 10 plus it looks nice on my phone, but when I decide to send via text messages it's quality changes horribly. What I'm I doing wrong?
That is quite normal! The video has to be compressed and re-encoded to make it smaller so it can go through text messages. Not sure which messaging app you are using, I use WhatsApp and the same thing happens there as well.
So glad I found your channel. I'm getting ready to upgrade my phone from the Note 9 to the S21 Ultra so your tutorials will help me to better understand how to use my new phone. I'm just waiting for Black Friday to make the switch since I will also be upgrading a Samsung tablet. :)

I am very impressed with all the hidden features on this galaxy phones. I love them so much. Thank you for teaching us all these tricks. I want to ask you about a dark mode feature. My son is 10 and I have him on my google family link and he said he could not change to dark mode because I have to give him permission to that feature. Why is it part of the family link if we only want to change it to dark mode or light mode? Is this feature not only protecting my kid from changing the screen to the dark mode or is it for protecting him from the dark web? I am curious. And then I need direction to help my son change his display to dark mode.
There's another feature called Seperate app sound. It's a handy feature. I miss the old Samsung phone's GroupPlay feature. Atleast they should have kept it for the music
