Accidently clipped out a part of the video about the stitching and the base, but they're top tier. No issues IMHO with either the base or stitched edging. Hybrid pads are becoming very good, and many of them are beginning to feel quite similar with glass skates. I think that's why the designs will really set most hybrid pads apart, and these designs are FIRE. Great job here by locus
Thanks to this review i decided to get the Kurai V2 since it is the exact same mousepad just with a different design (not cloth anymore), great review!
One thing to note is that their XL size pads are only 3mm thick whereas their XXL size pads are 4mm thick. I'm not sure how much this affects the softness and feedback from the foam under. Perhaps you could shed some light on that?
Wish that more companies would adopt having a 500x500mm standard, with 450x410mm~ being the "small". Otherwise, this still looks like a nice pad to add to the collection.
stuck between this, the mercury and the ac2 sakura. theyre all very similar but i have a venus and im looking for something with a little less static friction than that. the logical step up would the mercury but the locus pads and the ac2 are beautiful looking pads with similar characteristics. do you have a favorite of the 3 or a recommendation for me?
What are your top pads to use with glass skates? Tried them with the Otsu and felt very muddy. As for the Hien they were too fast. The zero was alright but still searching for the perfect combo for glass skates. Love your videos btw.
Hey man, I was thinking of buy superglide glass skates, but I've seen some people online saying they slowed down quite a lot after 2 months or so. How are yours keeping up, have you used them longer now? Do they slow down more than PTFE skates? Thanks in advance if you reply!
hi, i would like to know which mouse was the best for you and with which one do you feel better playing fps games between the Ninjutso Katana Superlight and Pulsar Xlite V2 and why? thank you!
I personally use both equally. I like to use two different shapes so that my hand doesn’t get lazy and my grip loosens up and feels worse. If I had to pick only one though, it would probably be the pulsar v2. Very solid package all around
Is this one really similar to the AC2? Edit: never mind, just got to that part in the review! Yeah I figured it would be similar. I’m kind of getting tired of hybrid pads to be honest, I want some new surfaces
I like both the Venus and Saturn. I use both a lot. I can’t really pick one over the other. I like to swap quite a bit. If I could only pick one to purchase, that’s a VERY hard decision. If you want more speed the padsmith; if you want more control and balance the lethal might be the way to go
@@TheBaldWookee sorry about the jumbled response. Was quickly responding on my phone lol. The pad smith has more comfy foam. More of a squish that you can dig into
Hi Fresh! Great review. Between getting this one and an Odin infinity. I’ve tried a Venus and Hien, for point of reference. Using superglides too :) which would you recommend for apex?
Hey, I was wondering how this compares to the Razer Strider? I like my strider but wish it were a bit more controlled, and wasn’t so boring haha. Any chance this is slightly slower?
@@FreshReviewsYT ok lol same I find myself trying to use my arm as a pivot more near my lower arm or elbow but instead I mainly just wrist aim because it’s easier imo
A little comparison in the video. The padsmith seems maybe a tad bit softer. Surface material itself is really to close to call attention to specific differences. Similar speeds
My previous post got blocked by youtube because i linked 49 ncbi ref, point is there is no definitive answer yet as more research needed and its classified as a 2a carcinogen by WHO, talking about wifi EMF radiation, like for example if u have 0.003% chance to get cancer through any number of biological changes and it increases 3x fold that is a change. But point is, I wont explain all the variables, if I perform the same on wired as wireless its just logical to avoid the wireless. Also I have ulnar nerve damage and use PC's 16 hours a day, for some reason the deathadder v2 hyperspeed 2.4ghz wireless causes stiffness and nerve tingling after about 2-3 hours use, 3x controlled for nocebo and placebo on seperate 2 days apart. Wired has no affect, so I have to use wired not the wireless one I baught because of this reason. Also cant link refs or links or actual data on amounts or db noise or skin absorption link or science ref to all biological processes or rare sensitivity. It makes sense no? If I feel the stiffness and pain with and there is no reason to use wireless then don't? have you ever experienced this?
No, I haven’t, and it could be chronic swelling in your wrist from overuse. I’ve never heard wifi signals from a mouse causing nerve pain. But, if swapping off of it gives you peace of mind…. Stay off! Tons of good wired mice
@@FreshReviewsYT EMF is electric field, magnetic field and RF radiation, so we talking about RF radiation, outside of scientific studies that aren't direct in what I'm finding I have found this in regards to RF from mobile phones (not 2.4ghz wifi) "Because of these factors, cell phone radiation has been linked to various types of hand pain, including sensitivity, muscle pain, tingling, and even joint pain. In fact, hand pain from cell phone use can often exacerbate any type of arthritis or carpal tunnel pain that you already have. And it’s not exactly an uncommon problem… Up to 40% of cell phone users claim they regularly experience some type of hand or finger pain due to using their cell phone so much. " That is what I'm experiencing , slight tingles , and a muscle feeling of always on causing it to stiffen, also dryer eyes and slight headache, I guess thats based on the previous nerve injury, reynauds lack of oxygen in hands and genetics. even tho this video is old this really helped me out, i was finally putting money to a good mouse pad but didn’t wanna totally break the bank and spend 60 on most pads, then i found this video and the review was perfect! i also use the xlite and play apex quite often so it just felt centered to me and what i was looking for, just bought the kurai mono and i’m excited to finally play on a pad made for performance but also looks thank you! 🤍

Looks like they changed the Kurai to match this...interesting, I'll have to buy it again to see if it changed from that smooth cloth surface it had.

love these reviews bro, compared to venus what’s ur thoughts?
Faster than the Venus with squishier foam

I would probably say the Odin BUT I haven’t tried them side by side

Is this pad coated? I wonder how long the glide will last. Looks really goooood for the price and I am looking to try one
No. It’s not coated and it should last awhile!
I got the pulsar xlite v2 with glass skates and I just can't do it. I can't use glass skates. My fingertip grip just doesn't have enough control.
Time and good practice will allow you to build up that control, just need to have the patience to do it.
They're awful. I second your sentiment.
dope late night upload 🔥

Gotta look out for the late night crew, since I can't sleep either lol

I’ve noticed the lethal skates don’t slow down really. The pulsar skates, I’ve had a small bit of slow down on a few pairs

does the locus wave get affected by humidity ?
Slightly. It handles humidity much better than your typical cloth pads

For true competitive play the first war
what about the manga desk mat
Quite different. Also a hybrid pad, but not quite as dead on similar as the other ones listed =D A bit more control / less zoomy
