I think that's the secret to her in a way. She has that presence and grace and amazing vocal ability and talent but at the same time she's human, shy and almost awkward which makes her approachable. A lot of people call her a goddess but she's the type of person that wants to sit down and talk to people rather than stand above people.
Commander Floor looks incredible here, needless to say. I'll have my headphones on at about 12,000 feet elevation. Dark blue sky, brilliant white snow and ice, clean, crisp air... I love how they've stayed humble.
Floor reminds me here of the models in Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' video. Nice interview. And again, they always come across as well grounded, down to earth folk.
Is it just me or could Floor play an absolutely awesome wicked queen in some fantasy movie? Could you imagine her looming over the hero as she contemplates his awful fate at her hands? I bet she would love playing the part.
@@katrinarickard2286 You can go before me, no problem. I couldn't think of the name when i wrote that post, but I was thinking of Maleficent. The thing is, Floor is so imposing and potentially terrifying without any CGI. She just has to go in full metal mode and scare the crap out of the male lead. No need for any FX for Floor and no need for any acting on the part of the male lead. Just imagine her talking sweetly to the doomed fool and then growling out his death sentence.
@@SaneSally As a Star Wars fan, I began tinkering with the idea of Floor as an emerging leader trying regroup the defeated and scattered Imperial forces. Imagine Floor with her size, the sheer power of her presence, her voice and the demonic expressions she can produce. Imagine her growling and screaming demonically as she uses the Force to gruesomely dispatch traitorous underlings. But, as the movie unfolds, Floor begins to look less and less the villain as the Alliance, riven by factionalism, is on the verge of civil war and a fearful, ugly side emerges.
Way ahead of you Troy, for me every new NW album is listened to in a nice space like my garden, headphones on and eyes closed, like a meditation. And then thrashed until I know all the words off by heart
Why is it so fucking hard to be open and honest and tell I FELL IN LOVE WITH TARJA’S VOICE, like she DID! And then started to imitate lyrical singing..
I loved hearing more about the back story telling about how Troy came to join the band, as well as enjoying their message at the end of this interview about putting away the technology and getting around people again! It was a really good, and interesting interview!
