En route from Scotland to North Wales the other day. Imagine my delight at driving through Warrington. Naturally I was on the look out for my favourite bearded bimbler. No luck but I was highly delighted to pass Compo tube vendor Decathlon & shortly after the synchrotron tower thingy at Daresbury. I felt like a Beatles fan at John Lennons house.

That would look cool painted in a nice colour and some gloss black rims or even maglites if they would go on' good luck with it kieran' I still have my 1980s raleigh burner had to fit maglites as my chrome wheels went rusty and kept puncturing the tubes. 👍

love it, if the gearing is too high for hills just put a bigger sprocket on the back and a longer chain, but I say again I love it😊

You might've struck gold with Compo there. I see it's got a nice bell. Some of those 1960's bells go for silly money on eBay - possibly even enough to pay for new tyres, brake bits and a modern 'ting-ting' bell. 🙂 BTW, you probably already know this, Sturmey Archer hubs usually have a date mark stamped into them which could help you identify the month and year of manufacture of the bike. I'm going to enjoy watching you bring it back from the brink. Happy fettling. 👍🏼
Unfortunately the bell doesn't work. The lever was broken off.

That's a highly entertaining 10 minutes. Cheap bikes RULE ✊ Are they 20" wheels? I love the way you flip it over and rest it on the gear lever. My favourite way to work on a bike.
Loved the start of this vid...the stills of the shopping trolley ect...you really capture the mood...loving "Compo" gonna be Great to watch the progress...for me one of the best channels on here 😊

oh! man that made me laugh, going to be hard work with just 3 gears, so make sure it's ridden on the flat and short journeys. On a more serious note, if you need any parts or equipment just post up an Amazon wishlist as I'd happily support you bud. Great videos as always keep up the entertaining work it's all much appreciated.
