“The rain falls hard on a humdrum town but this bimble will not drag you down"
It took a few weeks to get a day where the rain didnt fall. Ha
What is the song playing 🤔
@@brianshorrockjnr6928 which song? There is 3 songs in this video. :)
@@BimblismUK The one at the beginning
@@brianshorrockjnr6928 its called Take off your shoes. Links in the description to buy and stream. :)
Driven round there so many times as my mum lived just off Oldham Road. Loved that last song 👌
This is brilliant, Bimble-meister.
Loving this channel, bimble on my friend. 👌
not really been around the canal area in the past - looks like they did a good job of renovating it. In 2015 I was delayed on my flight back to Vancouver and was put up overnight at the MacDonald hotel just down from Piccadilly Station. In May 2018 I ended up taking 4 trains to get from Wigan to the airport during a rail strike. Subsequently, I tend to feel Manchester is trying its best to stop from leaving....
Excellent again - I too was at the 2004 comeback gig - 🎉🎉🎉
Franz Ferdinand supporting too. Fantastic. :)
@@BimblismUK I’d forgotten that !
@unionjackie.thealisterschoice fair point !
Frankly Mr. Bimble, Morrissey Manchester remains gladioli all over.
I could watch an hour long video of your sped up bike riding.
Great Bimble again Kieran... Manchester isn't a city I know to well...top new tune too fella..
Bummer you couldn't show us the arena where Morrissey played, I would have loved to have seen it! Absolutely brilliant show that was, I wasn't there but have watched the DVD many times!! Lucky you!!
Awesome, really enjoyed this series. Ive been in the Salford lad club and had a tour around the Smiths museum in there its well worth a visit.
Excellent again Kieran 😊
Nice one mate. Check out 'The Smiths, Songs That Saved Your Life' - Simon Goddard. A breakdown of every track they ever did. I can't believe you don't have that
The strange ways riot, featuring the Birkenhead slate thrower 😂
Maybe David Dickenson was up there. :)
Love the new song Kieran!!
Thanks Marie :)
I worked in Strangeways . Seen Ian Brown on I wing . He had a funny way of mopping the landings . not figure of 8 mopping method . But strut motion 😂
I had a feeling he'd be rubbish at mopping up. Ha
Also locked Harold Shipman up . Tiny evil bloke someone sent a parcel in addressed to him . All parcels are xrayed. Inside was a rope . With a slip knot already tied . With a note. Stating too Dr Shipman . Please use this rope . He ( Shipman) was transferred to Wakefield Prison then . Where he did hanged himself . ( not using the rope in the parcel, though . That had been confiscated .That remained in the props room in Strangeways )
Think you could find the location of the cover of Louder Than Bombs?
I think its a long shot.
I agree. I feel the building has been torn down and rebuilt.
We had a private toilet, a long drop in the back yard! Nice bimble but sorry I never liked the smiths, but Johnny Mar is a great guitarist.
Well the history is good enough minus the smiths. :)
One of the greats, mate,
