One of the most skilled and imaginative renditions of the Brazilian favorite I've ever heard. Yohan exhibits superb improvisation coming from that gift of perfect pitch (there's something far different when one has perfect pitch than otherwise, I notice in jazz players) - not afraid to explore dissonance and able to resolve it harmonically. Fantastic sense of syncopated rhythm. Not showy, but perfectly balanced lines which exhibit exceptional technique from a young and evolving master. Get up and dance while enjoying the ecstatic musical intricacies of Yohan. Thank you, Yohan Kim!

I just discovered this fine young man tonight and am watching all his videos. The Reo Brothers are one amazing Asian group but this 18 year old is over the top. I'm old enough to remember this great song when it was popular and played on the radio all day. Yohan has a way of making any song, no matter what genre, his own and jazzing it up to fit his style. Never overplays or shows off, just nails every one of them. Amazing talent and poise. We'll have many more years to enjoy him.

He’s a natural,playing at this level can’t really be taught I don’t think,must have natural ability and talent.
