Today, i ( NaniLuv1_ ) discovered something beautiful... somethin Special.. K-Pop! I've heard it be hyped up but i thought it was a trend but im actually thoroughly impressed! In total they've won 900+awards over 10 years, and will continue in the future. This as of November 2023. They have been nominated for a Grammy but have yet to win one. Its just a matter of time. This song is a flex against the haters. Our boys have been through a lot to get where they are at this point in time.

Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side spitting facts...lol. with Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille" & "sue it". I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October 2022 where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time...but sooooo worth it. You will feel the same energy. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

There is a theory that when they say "did you see my bag" that BAG stands for Billiboards, AMAs, and Grammys. Of which, they have won or been nominated for.

They still have many Hip Hop tracks they just add and expand their music as they are 7 Song writers, 7 Composer, 7 Producers each to a greater or lesser extent and all 7 can play at least one instrument and 3 members have done so on stage.
Their choreography has been insane since day 1. Some is more or less intense based on the song but they’ve always been amazing. Look at Dope.
I think BTS should have roughly 900 awards. They are 4th most awarded artist behind MJ, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Although they were nominated 5 times for Grammys but they haven't won yet. However they managed to bag 12 Billboard awards and 11 American Music Awards.

@@naniluv1_live Haha no other group is near to them in any thing no one is touching them no offence to others but they literally put kpop on the map they are not only the most successful and biggest kpop group but also the most biggest group in the world they beat beatles records and have all the records. They are the first kpop group to have global success they paved the way for kpop and increase the korean economy their government has awarded them for all this they are considered gods in korea and all the kpop groups are walking on path they paved now other groups are invited to us and kpop categories are made in American awards because of them and they are in military rn and still the highest charting group they are gonna comeback in 2025 as a group it will be massive.
@@naniluv1_live Definitely not! They set so many records and keep breaking them everytime. Even as solo artists, they are winning many prizes and setting new records. There's literally the K-pop industry, and miles above there is BTS - they went above and beyond. Many other groups look up to them because of everything they achieved and how many doors they opened to the rest of K-pop

They’ve won multiple Billboard Music Awards, won Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards and been nominated multiple times for Grammy’s. They’ve set Guinness World Records for their awards that’s how good they are💜
They also hold 31 Guinness World Records and it's well over 900 awards and I've lost count of how many 'Firsts' they hold of course those can never be beaten being the very nature a 'First'. They are the only Group in the list of the top 10 Global artists. They really do sell out the biggest stadiums on the planet in less then an hour it's like the 'Hunger' games trying to buy a ticket. They don't just do it for one night it's from a series of nights just for one concert. They are only 1 of 12 artist/groups to sell out Wembley Stadium and only 1 of 4 that have managed to do it more than once.

You have taken one tippy toe into the rabbit hole. BTS have over 400 songs which include group songs, BTS OST (Original Sound Track) songs, solo songs, collaborations, unit songs, rap line songs, and vocal line songs. And that's all within their BTS group discography. Then, they have their solo projects for each member, which includes, solo songs, collaborations, Original Sound Track songs, mixtapes, EP's and full solo albums. And that doesn't even begin to cover their other content. documentaries, variety shows, live vlogs, interviews, dance practices, behind the scenes. BTS has never moved away from their hiphop roots, but they also have never limited themselves to just that genre. Same album that On is from, they also have the rapline track Ugh which goes hard so be aware of thinking you have BTS figured out from just a few tracks bc they'll prove you wrong every time because same thing with Mic Drop, it's from the album Love Yourself Her that includes pop tracks like DNA which was what they performed at the BBMAs in 2017.

So the comparable Grammy Korean award should be the MAMA. They have been top artist 4 years in a row and I believe a clean sweep for the top 4 awards 2 years running. Dont quote me, but its impressive. The U S. Grammys? They have been nominated 5 times and performed on that stage twice. Check out their stage at the 24th Annual Grammys. A lot of controversy over them not winning.......Billboard, they have surpased the Beatles record! They are not your average boyband!!!

BTS has *a lot* of haters. And not only because they're popular but because of what they represent.
This song's biggest jab is because of the chorus saying that they have so many trophies that their bags are fulls of them and they can't carry more but they keep winning. It's a jab because, for years, others K-pop fans used to mock BTS and ARMY for not winning any prizes. Basically saying that it means they're trash. But now they have over 900 of them and keep winning more, even though they're on hiatus to complete their mandatory military service. So, that's that 😂
Long story short:
BTS debuted under a small company in 2013. K-pop was - and still is - dominated by the Big 3 (SM, JYP and YG with the addition of HYBE now). If you were from a small company, you had no chance of success because, even if you were really good, the industry would make sure you don't succeed. BTS got told that since the start, but instead of giving up, they looked for other ways besides going through the traditional institutions. They started vlogging and creating online presence, sharing their lives and building a relationship with fans and got attention *outside* of Korea. It also gathered critics because they started winning big prizes even though they weren't the most popular in Korea and were accused of buying back their own albums to boost their figures, even though they were just really popular outside of Korea. ARMY worked very hard to promote them as well and still is. So basically they opened the doors for small agencies, proving that it *is* possible. And they paved the way of the international scene for the rest of K-pop. They're in a weird spot where they're the biggest group of the world but are shunned and belittled left and right. But people still can't close their eyes on their numbers and achievements.

Since the beginning because they were a group from a small company, they went trough a lot of hardships. But with hard work and most importantly, talent, they overcame it. And since the beginning there were haters and people who look down to them. This song is one of the answers to those ones.

You have to see them do this live the full version with a live band. This is the remix they go hard when they do it live on stage at concerts and at the award shows and it has 2 extra hard dance breaks. Awards a plenty more than any Kpop group has ever achieved. They are league's ahead of any other group/artist in the Kpop Industry. They are the 7 Kings of Kpop

Everything but a grammy, though they've been nominated 5 times, presented once, and performed three times. No worries, they'll get it, when the Grammy committee gets past pretty blonde white women.
