I love that the kid thinks she has super powers, I mean that's a likely reaction for a young child.
Alex and the ice water never gets old 😁
Let me get these staples out “Punch me in the stomach!”
Put your hand in this ice water
“Punch me in the stomach! Right here.”
Let’s give you a CT scan
“HEY YOU!! PUNCH ME IN THE STOMACH RIGHT HERE!!”
😂😂😂😂
Honestly, it sounds like a typical kid reaction to something like this. They get the idea that they can do, or in this case, withstand something impressive, so they do it over and over again.
Lucky, great episode but it just described my childhood. Only I felt everything.
Am I understanding the subtitles? It looks like they say she's adopted, don't they? But she's not. They're foster parents, which means they take care of her but her guardian is the government. It's super important to the story, because foster parents are not her legal parents like adoptive parents are, so a child can be removed forever from foster parents incredibly easily. There doesn't need to be any proof they're bad foster parents. Even just a slight suspicion could be enough.
we don't have a proper word for "foster" in Portuguese, so it's translated to "adoptive parents". Actually, the whole concept of Foster Parents isn't very known or common here in Brazil.
The concept is not very common outside the US, but it's s great concept, in Spanish we decided to interpret the term as "padres de acogida" lol, before that they were just "adoptivos", because in Spanish (and I guess in Portuguese too) "to adopt" also carries an emotional weight to it, beyond legal paradigms, so that's that.
“Punch me in the stomach right here!”
Gotta hire a doctor that does medicine, nursing, and patient tech and all.

If Megan can’t feel pain why was she SCARED OF THE SHOT??
😂 ikr
shots don’t hurt but needles creep me out 😭
She wasn’t scared she was just saying she doesn’t need one, she was trying to prove herself to him
Needles are creepy.
I experience no pain from needles most of the time, but it took me a good long while before I was comfortable watching a needle go in.

The dr thought I had this at one point when I was little
It's not a power it's a condition
Yessir, there 1 in a million people have that kind of condition. Pain is actually very valuable sensation for us.
Well the kid thought
It's not good let me tell u having this condition may sound cool in theory but it's actually bad that people don't feel pain they could end up dying because of a bad injury they don't feel pain from because they think they don't have to get it checked out
@@ethansattler4230 Yes, and they can get injured much much more easily since they don't have pain reminding them when it's time to stop doing something. Especially with kids since they don't know as much. Like when the girl told the kid at school to hit her in the stomach with a baseball bat... She could get organ damage or get killed. Or with her hand in the ice, she could get frostbite.
