DB Ford & MF were extremely popular in UK from the 1960 up until DB were taken over by case and New Holland took over ford, Great videos and camera footage absolutely perfect especially to see Americans working on British tractors Marvellous 🇬🇧🇮🇪.

Yes they have 4 main bearings and 3 rod bearings.

I just lost a Front wheel on my 780. Fatuige-Failure on the Axleshaft.
Have you got some manuals etc. to confirm that the partnumber is k961815?
Do you think i can swap the whole front axle (incl. the cast connector plate) of an 880 or 990? They appear to be more heavy-duty.

I'll take a look and see if i can find the part number. I know that an 885 axle with out the front frame assembly will go on an 880. The 780 has a smaller front frame and axle both. If you could get a front frame and axle off an 885 I think it would fit. Best of luck!

I looked and I have a service manual but not a parts book. If you use the 885 front frame and axle the hood/ bonnet won't fit quite right.
Thanks a lot for the quick answer! I'll take a look at used 885-Stuff. Around here the 780 is very uncommon. 880s are way easier to find. But i like the 780 a lot! Good luck with yours!

How to find parts for this engine
It would probably be an AD 3/55 engine. Parts would be that for an 885 780 or 380 ck. You can get most of the parts you need from agrilineproducts.com
Just found your channel. Really enjoyed the video! Ive been watching all of them lol. Im 60 yrs old grew up on a small farm, it sure nice to see young people have an interest in the farm and this type of stuff, keep it up!
