As others have pointed out, a public freakout or other unprofessional conduct could've led to her being fired. She handled the situation as well as can be reasonably expected.
I was watching QVC late one night. There was a blood curdling scream off cam. I knew it was serious. The host was shocked and was looking around. The engineers were yelling in her ear to act like nothing happened. It was so hard for her to recover. I can't blame her but wow. You could tell they were in her ear yelling to get it together.

But I tried listening more closely - turned up loud, and ignoring what's going on in the foreground, and you can hear people trying to help her after she falls. The video just hit a nerve with me - way back in middle school I fainted and no one tried to help me or even get a teacher. I was too shy to ask for help, so I just struggled to my feet when I came to and felt sick the rest of the day. Ugh.

About Sandra Bennett's behavior. She seems indifferent but there was doubtless someone behind the camera who quickly but quietly ran up to help the lady and motioned for Sandra to go on pitching. This reminds me of the video 'She works hard for the money' when the beautiful, hardworking lady falls to the floor and Donna Summer concerned comes right to her aid. You may wish Sandra was concerned like that but others around her took the guilt off her conscience. Maybe if Donna Summer was on QVC at the time she would have ran to help the lady no matter what.
It's a horrible feeling when you're about to faint but you have to act like everything's ok. The nausea, weakness, dizziness, feeling hot, seeing stars, not thinking clearly. But if you listen closely in the background after she falls, there ARE people backstage taking care of her - encouraging her to relax and breathe, checking for responsiveness, getting her to lie still. And to be fair, you can tell by her voice that the other host IS upset by what's happened even though she does keep going.
I feel so bad for this lady, you can tell she was struggling for a long time before she fainted. It looks like she is having a diabetic reaction. I hope the vendors and business consultants learn from this to have supplies on hand all the time. Godspeed to everyone.
I've never fainted but I've had my blood pressure drop so low a couple of times I thought I was going to. One time I had to sit down. Other time I was already sitting down 'cause I was the doctor and she was in the middle of checking my pressure, go figure. I actually couldn't see for a minute or so that time. That's what the woman looked like in this video.
The funny thing is that she knew about 30 seconds before she fainted that something was wrong. So just get off camera and no one will even notice. Just smile and walk off camera like you're moving to another table. Shit, if you don't feel good, don't just suffer on.

When you are tired and nervous your own sympathetic nervous system can release a little too much adrenaline causing what we saw here. Although it has no medical significance it is scary as hell and most of us don't have the guts to be on TV for that reason. So it is nothing to be ashamed of.
