Gday Rustinox, I hope your feeling better and wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a safe and prosperous new year, the new lathe really helps getting the nice finish, it has been a big game changer in my little workshop, take care mate, cheers Matty
Hello Matty, You are making a very nice job of Nigel's plans... It was also nice to see you using some of the tools you made previously... Take care Paul,,
Thanks Nigel, so far im really happy with the fit and finish and its been a fun build, your plans are very easy to follow, I happy your enjoying the build, cheers Matty
That's it. I've decided to sell the lathe and just get you to do all machining work Matty 🤣. Great to see you making progress with the floating tap holder. I've been following your progress and watching you on my big screen television. But I can't bloody comment there and have to wait till I log onto the laptop to do it. Well at least I double your view count LOL
Gday Kevin, the more I use the lathe the more I’m liking it, it has good rigidity and ample power, taking a .050” doc is no problem, it has a good range of speeds and feeds, the D1-4 spindle is absolutely awesome, there’s no fear of the chuck screwing off cutting in reverse and to change over chucks is quick, overall I’m extremely happy.. cheers Matty
Nice and shiny parts as always. Good work Matty. I enjoyed.
