    This is a phenomenal helmet setup video. Very informative and super helpful. Thank you for covering small things like the ear pro earpads and the battery packs and counterweights.
    Will definitely add a lot of this stuff to my list of gear to get when the right time comes.

    Superb overview, and I'm glad to see the "you copied GT" comments haven't appeared yet. The TW camfit is my pride and joy.
    I've been using the AMP a lot more as of late and came across similar issues as you mentioned. One big letdown for me is that the NFMI plugs don't transmit effectively when the cups are popped out with the arms. Mounting up the AMP using 3M adapters is probably more practical than people take it for, because they give _just_ enough standoff for the plugs to receive (albeit, at noticeably lower volume). While not perfect, it's definitely useful if you want to cool off, remain tuned in, and keep an adequate level of hearing protection.

    Funny enough, I'm very prone to helmet Hotspots and usually take forever to set them up, but my opscore XL was great out of the box. Didn't change a single pad. Was out for 6 hours last Saturday. Very pleased. I will say though I'm in the carbon camp for the most part. Definitely gonna be scooping a second helmet for messing around

    Great video, and a very nice setup! There are few things more fun than having a super power to see in the dark

    This is a really cool helmet! I'm doing the bump opscore with a wilcox g11 and j arm with a white phos pvs14 gen3. I did a rhino2 b4 but the g11 has a feature that tightens the bayonet lug for no wiggle!

    Ordered a FAST helmet in multicam - Ops Core’s lead time is now only four weeks. Gets here tomorrow! Got a sweet deal with over $400 off with a Garandthumb discount lol

    I was looking at the weights between Ops core and Team Wendy SL, the shells are similar. TW doesn’t offer an XXL though. Great video sir.

    Just tip if you don’t already know stow your ear collapsed in the helmet not up on it it wears the arm mechanism out since it’s under tension if your using it go for it but if it’s not in use keep them collapsed inside.

      @dinomiljanic8708 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You cannot really expect he will take his helmet off every time he needs to stow ear pro.. But yea, that's kind of a downside of these arms. But, if you're careful, it'll last decent amount of time. 👍

    2XL Head gang. lol I have a big head too, it's a fucking pain. Not just that but also pads. Some companies, like the cloudline system doesn't work for bigger heads too :(

    Why use weights instead of more batteries?

    • @InferiorRifles
      @InferiorRifles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The battery pack can either hold 2 CR123A batteries, or 4 AA batteries. Neither of which weighs enough to balance RNVGs

    hahaha, OpsCore advertises those Lux Liner pads like if they were Rocket Science NASA Advanced Alien Tech...
    but it is just cheap foam material in a cheap shell...

      @@InferiorRiflesI'm guessing the sentinels would be another $8,000. Very impressive helmet setup. I probably will go more towards your setup except the nvgs. I really like it, especially the ops core amps.

    I thought the helmet bungees were to help hold the mount steady. Not to hook to nvg themselves

      The third step (per the manufacturer) is literally “attach bungees to NVG”

    • @bangbanggvng
      @bangbanggvng ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InferiorRifles your bungees are different after looking back at the video hence why I deleted the comment. I thought you had the side bungees that attach to rails my bad

    • @InferiorRifles
      @InferiorRifles  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bangbanggvng You’re referring to Ops Core’s older bungee system. Either type of bungee is designed to attach to the night vision device itself, in order to take any play out of the folding arm mechanism. The photos that you see of the bungees attached to the helmet shroud are just showing how the bungees are stowed when not using nods. The helmet shroud is bolted to the helmet itself and does not require any form of stabilizing. It’s already rock solid.
