I cannot believe you are not using a tarp save so much time that can be used doing other things. You just put the brush on the tarp as you go. Ok - I just have to say how much it makes my heart smile to see these boys learning how to work “SMART” - as a retired teacher - I have often thought that kids were not being taught to work and certainly not physical labor - this, is just too cool💗💗💗. And, while all of the boys work well, it’s that youngest one who uses logic WAY BEYOND his years and seems to be more like Dad!!!! Thank you Justin, for doing what YOUR DAD did not do for you and for being a role model for the younger ones who will take over where we left off ❤
I'm a retired teacher too and the young boy is impressive. He doesn't need to be told what to do . His instinct tells him naturally . For me , he was the star of the show , today . I love his question: Dad, who did work the hardest today. Dad didn't know what to answer to favor opne boy over the other but he could have said : Well, for one , I'm proud of you . Yhis boy have a promissing life in front of him. I wish him all the success he deserves.

I have a heavy duty chain that pulls the roots right out of the ground. It's not flexible like the strap. Great job cleaning up the property! It makes you feel good when you can tackle the more difficult cleanups! Your sons are ambitious for their age. You can tell they're well trained which is a good thing! 0:16 been there done that...thank God i got out of the wheelchair i was in and was able to get back up on my own two legs and walk again under my own steam...i was trapped in my home for almost a month it was horrible...even the doctor who treated me was amazed i was back up walking again..

A chain is better suited for pulling out trees/shrubs/stumps, & a snap pull might need to be implemented. Always cut the top off, but leave about 2' to 3' stump, so that you can wrap chain around, using the big hook side so that when you pull, it cinches tight, but keep your boys farther away from site.

I found if I use a chain for pulling tree roots it works a whole lot better.

But you have to be careful- if it breaks it could whip around and kill you. We use recovery straps now for all our pulling
