I’ll point out that these are MP’s right at the beginning of their CPP training. Footage of fully trained specialists in that field is not released to the general public. It would be stupid to reveal the full capability and training methods of protective units. No kidnappers, assassins, or terrorists could watch this video and learn anything they could use nefariously.

Because most people think it's a mans job but seeing how the females handle this job, especially being an officer it has changed my mind. I was never sexist but when you see THIS job that they are doing, gender is on your mind, such as: would a man handle things differently?
They had to mention gender because they were saying how as much as it is a mans job, women can do it too, and they do it very well. There's nothing wrong with it, it's mainly just giving other women a sense of belonging rather than not belonging.

The RMP was full of want to be SAS CP gung-ho warriors but couldn’t be policemen even if they tried... Me I was always a copper... Loved it in BAOR where policing was my first choice 😀
Maybe in your time John. Many of the guys now are SIB trained and multi faceted in surveillance and cyber. Being just a “ copper” doesn’t wash these days.

You seen some of the braindead dumbos in other regiments? atleast in the RMP you have to have a certain qualification/intelligence level and exit training with a rank. Some of the idiots I work with don't know which end is their ass. Recruitment has become too relaxed.

Blank firing attachment (BFA). Used to control gas flow from the muzzle when using blanks so the action can cycle.

You don't aim unless there's something to aim at. High ready allows for good peripheral vision but still let's you index the weapon quickly.
@@PaddyInf I bow to your better knowledge but if exfilling with an HVT my weapon would go where my eyed go. I never did CP work but got to a very high standard on clearance drills. Mind you things always change (-:
@@exmoorfarmer4880 In the high ready you are still pointing the weapon in the direction of the target and you move it where your head goes. You just aren't looking down the sights. If you are in the aim your focus is funneled to a small area and you can miss threats in your peripheries. Looking over the sights allows for better situational awareness.
