I am american and am suffering from bad music as well as horrible "new-age" music videos, and I am glad good music still lives in Germany! And I am starting to learn german to understand the words!
It's funny how I first heard this in german class, and now I can't stop listening to it! I only understand half of the words yet I can sing along to the whole song!
i agree this music in the usa is all the same dubstep and electric songs with the same beat and sound germany is alive with amazing music thank goodness i know german lol. how is your's coming along

@TerminalGuitar In germany are almost the same charts like in the US. There are a lot of good bands in the US, too, with good textes and music. But yes, you are right. Revolverheld is an excelent german band :)

@lovefaberdrive ich bin english also versteh ich die texte aber lebe schon immer in österreich also versteh ich deutsch. ich hör fast immer nur englische musik den ich mag nur sehr wenige deutsche lieder, und die englischen lieder die ich anhöre sind nicht die die man im radio hört sondern lieder wo es fast nie schimpfwörter gibt und die texte über etwas sind und diese lieder sind öfters schon besser wie deutsche lieder, es tut mir leid aber es stimmt.
@00Kuroshitsuji00 you should, German is very fun to learn if you have a fun teacher, so if you do, choose your teacher carefully, im taking it in school, and the teacher moved to the nearest town, and became principal there, so now im stuck with a buzz kill for a teacher, now its no fun. :( But German is kind of difficult to learn but once you get the hang of how their grammar works, it gets a lot easier :)
And I want to speak more english. We could help each other, if you want to. Since u are learning German for two years, im agog, how good u can speak now german :)

@TerminalGuitar well there are some bad german songs aswell. the musics not bad on most of them but the lyrics are just terrible. by some i regret being an english person living in austria. :(
