I love how JDs dream is to have his kid and Turks kid to marry each other so JD and Turk be legal brothers.

When Turk wore that hat he taught me that success is all about confidence.
When he says “Glenn Matthews”, he looks so genuine. It’s such an underrated part.
According to series creator Bill Lawrence, it is. For the longest time I thought the joke was that he was dishonest to JD to the very end, but it turns out all that contemplative facial expression wasn't dry sarcasm, it was honesty.

@@delcox8165 I really need a source. It's not that I doubt you, but this is one of my favourite series ever and for several years I've been convinced that the Janitor wasn't being honest when he said his name was Glenn Matthews.

There were 4 times scrubs made me cry. Ben’s death, JD’s leaving montage, Perry losing all his patients and Mrs wilks dying. Everything else was comedy gold
My launch is the saddest episode of them all. But all of these episodes has one thing in common, they affected Perry which showed even the emotionless tough among us can be broken, so yeah they hit differently

Ironically, read this as it was playing.
I just realized the Free Pudding thing is a reference to them being Interns stealing a trunk load of pudding to subsist on till they became residents, which probably gave Turk Diabetes. They lived on it and jello for so long that it's their favorite thing now and would want it when they're in charge of the Hospital

You dont get Diabetes type 2 from any food, when you have the genetic disposition obesity and age trigger it and if you get the autoimmune Diabetes type 1 you cant do anything but take insulin, just FYI

Yeah that is why in the first episodes he talks and interacts with no one else

The only problem with that theory is The Janitor interacted with everyone which makes him real and not some imagination made by JD.

Agreed, if Braf had stayed on it may have had something but without him it just didn't work.
@@theatom7264 It was initially meant to be a separate spin off series called scrubs med-school with familiar characters but not be part of the main show itself but it bombed hard so they decided to scrap it and call it scrubs season 9 med school. The actual reason they moved hospital was because the original hospital sacred heart was demolished and replaced with flats so they moved to the new hospital which was out of practice to then be demolished too after med-school failed, thus meaning med-school couldn't be re-done.

I loved scrubs. Still have the DVDs. Lol. Only one season I thought was lacking and it was season 9. Changing everything didn't go well. But still funny . just wasn't the same

im actually sad it didnt end on a point where JD and turk were chiefs of their field, even though turk got there. the med school season had its ups and downs but it wasnt the ending i wanted or i think anybody wanted
It wasnt supposed to be the ending. It had multiple seasons planned but given how hard it failed they never went beyond a full season. It had Potential to grow but fans where butthurt that previous Characters either vanished or where just supports.
If I recall correctly, the med school season was made to ensure people had jobs during the writer’s strike. It wasn’t meant to be a legacy season.
I think the med school season who have been better if it was it's own spinoff instead of a new season.

I love how there is a collective understanding that the "last" season never really existed at all and that season 8 was the real finale ^^

I've said it before and I'll say it again: FUCK SEASON 9! That's another show entirely!
It was confirmed by the writer the janitor’s name is the same as the janitor in clone high (which they also wrote). The janitor is only in one episode of clone high and his name was glen. So the janitor wasnt lying when he told JD he was Glen Matthews.
