For how young you are, it's simply amazing how much you know about the scene. Im in my mid 30s and its like telling me intricate details that took me years to know. BTW i shook Cristina Scabbias hand and she has the softest hands of anyone I ever met. 😱
You got some bangers in this collection. Obviously Death could do no wrong same with Autopsy. I was actually just wearing my Mental Funeral long sleeve the other day. Nightwish is that band that I only listen to every once in a while, personally I think Tarja was the best singer but the ones after her are also good. Yep, At The Edge Of Time is also my favorite Blind Guardian album. As for that Whitechapel album, I saw them on The Valley Tour over 4 years ago and bought the autographed copy from their merch table.
Happy new year! (yeah a few weeks late, I know)… haha I forgot Reiffert had hair… it's been so long. I dropped out of Lacuna after Karmacode was so dissapointed… but came back with Anima. Testament rules! Great variation in that CD collects…… if you love Slowdive, check out the Vanishing Kids album that came out last year.
Three matches with my own collection: :) DELAIN: Moon Bathers - I agree with you, very special CD. And I like the lyrics too, very metaphysical. Nightwish: One - still unpacked :) The only one Nightwish album I have (I have most of Tarja's CDs though) Metallica: Ride the Lightening. 🤘
Yes you certainly need all the Death albums! Nice to see some Napalm Death in the collection too. Even though you're not a big tech death fan check out the new Replicant album Infinite Mortality probably my favourite 2024 album I've bought so far this year 🤘🏻
I was hoping you would do an update to your CD collection! I remember when that Dimmu Borgir CD was released. Yeah, Slowdive can be considered shoegaze. I got Alice in Chains Dirt when it was released on cassette tape so I could listen to it on my walkman! Haha Great collection. \m/
I sometimes still get cds or vinyls of my favourite bands. Testament are touring with kreator and anthrax in November uk London can't wait and slipknot in December London, in march alestorm
Some fantastic albums there but it did make me feel very old when you said you were born around the time Blackwater Park was released. It's definitely Opeth's best in my opinion and one of my favourite albums of all time. Good to see some Death in there too - another amazing band. Have you heard Control Denied, Chuck's side project? Worth checking out. Some good stuff here that reminds me of university days like Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and Slowdive which my indie kid mates were really into. Glad to see someone who still likes to collect CDs. It's much nicer to own the physical media than to just stream it.
The new Morbid Saint album Swallowed By Hell is my favorite Metal release of 2024 so far. Thrash is my favorite Metal genre/sub genre and Swallowed By Hell is killer Thrash Metal that's gonna be tough to beat. 🤘
I know I’ll get a lot of flak for this but I am a big fan of Iced Earth, even though I don’t condone what the founder of the band did. I also love early Iron Maiden, Metallica’s Ride the Lightning, Megadeth, Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Old Man’s Child, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Mindless Self Indulgence, even love early jazz music and classical.
just came accross your channel, I was wondering do you do video reactions? I want to know if I could get you to do a reaction to a band called "Lovebites" they are an up and coming band from Japan that are starting to get a fair amount of attention amongst us western audiences some songs/videos I'd suggest to go with are "Set The World On Fire", "Judgement Day", "Swan Song", and "Break The Wall", thanks!
@@elvenqueenofmetal696 cool, I'd suggest at least giving them a listen then, you may not think they are metal upon first look at them since they masquerade in full white outfits, but if you give them a listen you'll see they very much are a metal band.
Alot of great gems in your metal CD collection.
Love the variety of your collection, both genre variety and band variety. Something for every metalhead 🤘
Nice to see some love for the almighty Opeth.
Been a fan since the first album - and they never disappoint.
Great collection!!
Thanks, mate 👍
I came across your channel and subscribed. Awesome CD collection so far!
I saw Death on the Symbolic tour...with Nevermore
Hey! Nice video!!
Thank you 😊
I love Testament 🤘One of my favorite thrash bands
Still going strong- their recent albums are amongst their very best.

Dude, this collection is amazing! I was seriously hyped to see some Testament in there. What’s ur favorite Testament album?
@LanzX502 I have two. The Legacy and New Order
@ That’s awesome. My top picks are Souls of Black and Brotherhood of the Snake

I suggest DISSECTION "Storm of the Lights Bane" a classic black metal masterpiece every song on that one is top tier.

Yes. I know Control Denied. Yes, I always prefer CDs over streaming.
@@elvenqueenofmetal696 definitely. It's not the same if you can't hold it in your hand. Streaming just feels wrong
Gotta get that Black Mass into your collection from Electric Wizard

I have the exact same pendant, but inverted. No joking. Got it lots of time ago.
Vomit remnants is my favorite
Do you listen to Mercyful Fate/King Diamond? Also Alice In Chains is by far my favorite grunge band. Along with Silverchair from Australia.
Yes. I love King Diamond a lot

I think so

I typically don't do video reactions, but maybe one day I will. I think those are great ideas 😀
