Misogyny is fkd up and it's a huge problem inside of most subcultures like punk, goth, metal, you name it. And we need to talk about that again and again and again, because that's quite an issue for way over half the people on this planet if you include everybody who isn't a straight cis male. That's why your original video got that much attention and there aren't enough people speaking openly about the problems they face within their own community.
When someone says my music I’m not metal enough. I’m like I don’t care dude. I like loads of different types. I grew up with so many metal bands and still listen to metal now. I’ve seen some videos of metal artists talk about the stuff they listen to. And they have a diverse musical influences. I’ll still be not caring what people say and moshing and wearing band shirts when I’m in an old folks home! Haha \m/
regarding the old video: i would never assume someone is intentionally wearing a shirt to convey the fact that they listen to music they don't really listen to. but even if they did, thats their problem i guess. but if i see a girl who has one item of clothing with a well known metal/alternative band logo(Metallica, Ramones, Maiden...) i won't automatically assume they like the music. like i am pretty sure this one girl i follow on insta who has single item of clothing with a Metallica logo isn't really into metal. but regarding the topic: i am pretty sure we are all guilty of occasionally try to "out metal" each other, guys included.
The algorithm works in mysterious ways
Unfortunately negativity attracts people which is ashame. As long as you be yourself that is all that matters.
That is true. Thank you 🤘
I used to watch Mundane Laura videos all the time. Hope she’s doing alright!
Me too 🤘
That was the first video I watched from you and then stayed for the rest of the content. And yes, that other type of content is worth it 🤘🤘🤘
I appreciate that!

let's make it "straight white cis male" considering the immense prevalence of racism

Typically I don't care either. That's the best response to have 🤘
