Over the course of 9 days I went ahead and made a Virtual Reality (VR) game in the Unity Engine with absolutely no prior game development or coding knowledge. How did it go? Did I do a good? Did I do a bad? You'll have to watch to find out... Or just skip to the end. Up to you really!

Just started and already excited for you. Fellow Aussie looking to get into GR dev as my 1st try. Have used unity for level design befire but now with mixed reality level design is almost useless fir current goal

This is so cool! The idea that you can just... create a game in a week with no experience and end up with something that is fun... that's incredible. I'd love to try it, but I don't have VR... except for Labo VR, of course.
Side note: How is Digimon Survive going?
I think its a testemant to how accessible software like Unity is these days. Anyone can make games now and that is insanely cool.

Hey, can you say a bit more about the tech stack you used? Was it just Unity, OpenXR and go from there or did you use something like XRTK, VRIF, UltimateXR, Hurricane, oculus sdk or somilar?
I'm currently in a similar situation and evaluating a few different ones :)

From memory I am prety sure I used VRIF as a base framework, haven't had a chance to check out and recent releases of it, but at the very least it was an excellent framework for VR stuff, would definitely recommend!
