The game is amazing. I played it at the HOF and was blown away how cool it is. What a shame it tanked before it was released. Imagine if there we a few hundred of these out in the wild.

These are great! I searched Pinball Historian just to see if anyone made videos just like this and I was so pleasantly surprised that you made them for your channel. You HAVE to make more. I would love to see:
    Scarred Stiff,
    Zingy Bingy,
    Magic Girl,
    Big Lebowski,
    Highway Pinball,
    Total Nuclear Annihilation,
    King Kong,
The questionable backglass artwork of Dave Christensen (i.e. Capt Fantastic, Nitro Groundshaker, Mati Hari, Wizard, Old Chicago, etc),
Questionable artwork of Pat Lawler and his passion project Dialed In.
If I think of any other suggestions I’ll add them. Can’t wait to see more of these!

@@KevinCarringtonI’ve been a super-massive Lawlor honk since day one, and I was buying myself a pin for a milestone bday. The dealer had a Dialed In LE.
Even though I was on the plus side as a potential buyer of it, even **I** was dubious about the theme, the SIMS-style LED animations, and the art.
This is LAST WEEK, ok. I fire it up, and the dealer informs me the bats are tuned to max power in the settings. I’m expecting some hellcat ball feedback, right?
No jokin: The flippers felt like they were made of Nerf or pool-noodle material! 👀😳 Yeah, you COULD make the shots, but it played like molasses in the winter! 🤦‍♂️
I left w a JP LE! It shot better than every new table in the warehouse! I’m still stunned. Best use of shaker motor since Earthshaker! 🤷‍♂️

  • @D0S81
    @D0S81 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

oh my god. Ive never seen anything like this in my life, this is awesome. having the play field like that is amazing. i meana, pinball tables are technically like rude golberg machines, and i always wanted to see one that had a theme based around rude goldberg machines specifically, so the table would have boots kicking balls down rampps, and ballons hitting things that knocked something else that turned on a fan that blew such n such, but. a regular shaped table would be tricky to incorporate such i theme i think...but this, this would be perfect. This is amazing. with todays technology I'm always surprise dthat pinball tables arent more technologically advanced. and are mostly pretty un inventive compared to things like this. its a shame. the things we could do with tables if minds were to be put to it. and its not like pinball is dead. people still love it.

I got to play this game on test back in the day in the Chicagoland area. I played it at all three test locations. Galaxy World or Gala North in Carol Stream, Diversions in Chicago, and Just for Fun in Arlington Heights. There’s a possibility there was more than one on test at the same time that I played, but I can’t remember.

Another great presentation of pinball Kevin. I never got the chance to play, or even see, this pin out in the wild (obviously), but I thought it was cool and super creepy all at the same time. My favorite mech in the game is the elephant who uses it's trunk to transverse the ball over to the wireform. Most pinballs nowadays overlook the interaction in the toys of the playfield, with only a few within the last couple of years that really stands out. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the other pinball machine documentaries that you produce. How about some more Williams' pins, like Monster Bash, Attack from Mars, Circus Voltaire, etc?

I played the Pinball Circus at the Las Vegas Hall of Fame. It had very brief ball times - well, at least for me - due to unforgiving shots to elevate the ball from ring to ring. So I spent a fair bit of money but only got the ball to the top clown playfield once :( I enjoyed the challenge and admired the design of the machine, though I couldn't see myself ever adding one to my collection. Thanks for the video with the interesting back story.

I think it'd be better if it was edited and simplified into a Monty Phyton's Flying Circus pinball, possibly have the modes based on sketches from the show.

I do think python Angelo such a character especially with some of his interviews.
    He really doesn't hold back.
And pinball circus looks very cool.
And hope I can play it one day.
But the one I would really love to see get finished but probably won't.
Would be the most infamous pinball design zingy bingy...
Probably the first and only "adult" themed pinball machine.
And I guess it was such an outrageous idea that made Capcom go AH NOPE!
And bow out of pinball manufacturing. Very quickly.

I can't confirm this, but I suspect Capcom got interested in pinball after seeing Gottlieb make a pinball version of Street Fighter 2, which means Gottlieb may have indirectly sabotaged Williams by inspiring another rival company to peal away some of their great talent like Python and Mark Ritchie.
