Banzai Run is coming out on Pinball FX this week so prepare for some extra traffic as new player get introduced to the table.
My favourite pinball game! I played this in the local poolhall as a kid in Toronto near Eglinton and Ave Rd on my way home from high school, and the Show Time multiball was always the best. The deep bass and loud stereo everyone knew you were playing The Addams Family. Due to its popularity though it broke down a lot but always beloved by all. Other great pinballs we had of that era were Demolition Man, Twilight Zone, Star Trek The Next Generation (mini shuttle game: left-right left-right left-left-right extra ball :D ) There were others but I we didn't have them like Terminator. Great video thank you! 90s were the best!
Recently got the Atgames 4k pinball machine in Attack From Mars skin. While not real pinball it's damn awesome and this table is making me mental. I've made it thru 3 cities doing the right bank shot to middle. Have yet to get thru 4. The Zen Williams tables available so far like Attack, Twilight Zone, Addams, Monster Bash, Creature From..., World Cup and Star Trek are by far the best. Waiting for more Williams tables to receive the alp ports. Williams was and is king imo.
More of a tutorial than history of.
What a beauty. Just dont destroy your TZ with LED bulbs. I also find pretty ugly colored DMDs on 90s games but this TZ animations are pretty cool
Black and white DMDs look great on this.
Hello, I'm from the future to tell all of you guys who are watching this comment that ZEN Studios is bringing Banzai Run to Pinball FX in December of 2024.
Thank you for the video but stop misusing the word: "artificial intelligente" like the whole world does. How on earth can attach AI to a 1992 build machine??
Anything new coming ?
That's Tower Bridge @ 08:31...
Also, 8:34 it's the Tokyo Tower
Please do Monster Bash :)
Can you do judge dredd next
I would love to see more about the sequel game, Revenge from Mars! Maybe in a sequel video?
I want to see a History of The Grand Lizard Pinball, with a history of its original backglass included.
Nice video. I had a Taxi pinball machine back in 1993. The fellow that maintained it for me also owned an arcade and told me about a great new machine called Twilight Zone. He ordered one straight from the factory for me and it has been sitting in my rec room since. One of my better purchasing decisions.
This is my favorite pinball game of all time. It's addicting. I would always go to one place in New Jersey to play it when I was younger.
Pros of Simplified Layout - Easy to play! Cons of Simplified Layout - Really, _really_ easy to bounce the ball off the center target and send it right through the flippers. Regardless, as someone fairly new to pinball, this one has the BEST presentation out of any I’ve played so far. The second the martians started straightening out the tower of Pisa, I lost it! … As in, I lost the ball because I was laughing so hard, but still.
Imagine if this started as a adaptation of Monty Python and The Holy Grail, only to couldn't get the licensing rights.
I think it'd be better if it was edited and simplified into a Monty Phyton's Flying Circus pinball, possibly have the modes based on sketches from the show. Including the full "Liberty Bell" as it gameplay music.
not really artificial intelligence, but rather advanced programming
I have had the original with the gold eprom and probably way too many extras for 12 years, but thanks to you I learned a lot about this game. Thank You!!
Now you've done it... S H O W T I M E
My favorite pine all machine as kid. I will always have a soft spot for attack from mars.
Man do I wish I owned this table.
I'd love to see The Machine: Bride of Pinbot!
Love this one its great the destruction of the ufos are satisfying and a easy top machine of williams
A awesome machine wow nice review
Great video. Do Champion Pub please
Rob Schneider should be on the front.
IMHO the best pin ever made.
Brilliant documentation of this iconic piece of pinball history. I was lucky enough to play this back at the old Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas. Sadly on my most recent visit to the new location is was not working. I truly hope Circus Maximus can pull though with these prototype machines. Thanks for uploading!
I've got an early AFM model in my collection that's got a few aestethic differences on the playfield: not much, but some inserts have different colors ("Rule the Universe" is orange instead of green), and the insert art of the nations is different (the writing doesn't have a white stroke around all letters, only on the parts over the transparent plastic). The moder ship plastic dome is transparent grey instead of green; the mini saucers are painted silver instead of grey (the mother ship is grey), but I could never confirm if the painting is a factory job or made by the arcade operator that owned the AFM before me. Still, it's a bit strange that he'd paint them for no reason at all - most operators don't care about such details - so I don't rule out that it was an early paint job that Williams tried and then discarded. It's clearly a sample game, 'cause the ROM version it came with was so old it didn't even have the video mode yet!
That’s why I did the nine to have special features on cactus Canyon when pinball 2000 was right around the corner preferring to save special features for the new systems
This is one of my favorite pinball machines and back in the early 1990s I got written up in a local Sonoma County California newspaper for getting a higher score on it than anyone else in our area, over 1.9 billion.
I played this the other day at an arcade. AMAZING machine.
Love this game!!
One of the all-time great pins
Are you sure it only weighed 283 lb.? I moved one into my basement recently and it seemed a lot heavier 🤣 Great video!
this table made me realize that I'm very lucky to not have epilepsy 😊
hi ! watched this video and it seems you're plagiarising the wikipedia article of this game word for word !
Sad thing is it’s never working .. even has a credit dot in the footage of it being turned on.. I’ve been to Vegas 3 times in 4 years.. it’s never been on.. sad place
what is in the background at 0:34?
The woman entangled in vines on the back glass is Abigail Craven / Dr Pinder-Schloss (Uncle Fester’s adoptive “mother” played by Elizabeth Wilson). I only know this because I just finally got around to watching the film for the first time; it’s fun to finally be able to place all the references in the table! And I’ll add another voice to the chorus saying that your videos are great; exactly the sweet spot I was looking for between gameplay videos, tutorials, and general pinball history vids! Looking forward to checking out the rest!
I love your videos! One on Guardians of the Galaxy by Stern would be amazing!
You could've at least picked the right tower for you Eiffel tower ! Sacré bleu
This pinball machine is one of the best memories of my youth. We had one in my little town's arcade, in Italy. It must have been a hacked specimen, or maybe the installer left some dip switches on, because it had some very advantageous features turned on: - during the clock bonus phase, you could max out the 255.000.000 points just by pushing the plunger! Pushing the plunger had the same effect as hitting the needed bumper. - by pressing the start button, you could stack points during the drive-in bonus phase, as if you hit the needed bumper. This way, one could keep winning extraballs and keep playing forever ^_^ Also, when you get the extraball, the machine woule make a resounding *SNAP* noise.
RIP LFS we miss you
Best sideart ever!
I honestly never saw any of these back in the day. First I ever even heard of this table was on a pinball collection I got on my Switch. But it quickly became a favorite that I play all the time! Just got an At Games Addams Family table and bought Attack From Mars to play on that as well. Just finished up quite a long session and my arms are killing me! Totally worth it!
Gotta love the pelvic thrust ball save. Python truly was an innovator
