Wow! That was some job gettin er separated. Your investigation was thorough and makes perfect sense. Even I, as inexperienced as I am, can agree with your explanation. Seems straight forward. I'm learning so much from your channel. Thanks for bringin me along. Enjoy your trip and I'll be ready for the next episode. I'm rootin fer ya.
How are your lower/side transmission shaft seals? If you need to replace all three seals on the upper shaft...then I wonder how the lower/side seals are? Could your leaks be from that lower/side shaft, it would be a shame to have to split the tractor again for two $10.00 lower/side seals. ( I use the term lower as it is easier to think of the transmission being like most other vintage tractor transmissions.) Enjoying your video!!

Thank you for watching as always!
Everything looks great for a 70 year tractor, doesn't look like it was abused
I agree. Not too bad in there.

I am replacing the lower seals on the hand clutch shaft but I think the transmission is good. Thanks!
What is the part number for that front seal that keeps oil out of the clutch housing compartment?
From djstractorparts.com, part # 70224687.
