    Lyrics
Down, down, you bring me down
I hear you knocking down my door
And I can't sleep at night
Your face it has no place
No room for you inside my house
    I need to be alone
    Don't waste your words
I don't need anything from you
    I don't care where you've been
Or what you plan to do
Turn, turn, I wish you'd learn
There's a time and place for everything
I've got to get it through
Cut loose 'cause you're no use
    I couldn't stand another
    Second in your company
    Don't waste your words
I don't need anything from you
    I don't care where you've been
Or what you plan to do
Stone me, why can't you see
You're a no one, nowhere washed up baby
    Who'd look better dead
Your tongue is far too long
I don't like the way it sucks and
    Slurs upon my every word
    Don't waste your words
I don't need anything from you
    I don't care where you've been
Or what you plan to do
I am the resurrection and I am the life
I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like

The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection (Audio) 2155pm 28.9.23 i managed to get a gander inside factory's hacienda today... totally different from the obvious warehouse of yesteryear... obviously. and a bit of the floor allegedly remains - stuck, as it is, on the wall - as a seminal piece of art, i suppose. dunno if they gave it a fac number, though. we suggested it was probably a bit of the ritz's floor (the bouncy ballroom) when they did it up once over... i also discovered my ex had no issue with being told to cosey up to the "ugly bloke" as she had vacantly mistook me for someone else - which must have been a boon - when she envisaged wat t'other chap was like... . p.s if i recall correctly the old boardwalk - to enter it one had to ascend a staircase where the black door is still situated... steep staircase one had to be wary of if one had had a skin full...

The CD release from the '90s sounds terrible for the most part. Some of the trippier songs sound cool, but the majority don't have the clarity and impact needed. I would still like to hear the album get a full remix/remaster from one of the new audiophile types, though.
