I love watching your boot sale finds. I really wish I could find items like you all the time. One day I was really lucky finding 2 fleece blankets & a faux pearl necklace for $1 each. I am always looking for blankets for my 2 dogs so never want to pay to much. This was the best find in a while. Where I live in the USA everyone wants too much for their items. I donate items I don’t want anymore to my Aunties church.
Those egg cups are such a beautiful color. I am always looking for those for another Aunt.

Hi Kate, my gran worked in Keillor's factory in centre of Dundee where they also made beautiful chocolates I think it was in the 1950's. I was born and bred in Dundee which is famous for it's Jute, Jam and Journalism. Home of the Dandy and Beano. 👍

I think the ‘coasters’ are bottle coasters. The tray was lovely! Keiller’s went out of business in 1992.

Kate, your really nice Lord Nelson jug would have been made between 1891 and 1921. When the American McKinley Tariff became law in 1890, English manufacturers had to mark their wares "Made in England". It's value is about £15. The brown earthenware jug reminds me of the jugs we bought scrumpy in from Cornwall. When we finished drinking the scrumpy, up they would go on the beams in our old cottage. You've definitely had some lovely things for little cost. The tray with pansies and coasters with cosmos flowers in were pretty. Liked the blue and white candle holder too xxx

I Kate. My favourite items are the tray with pansies and the coasters. The 2 with the high sides i think may be wine bottle holders, to save drips from going on the table . They are lovely, I wouldn't have been able to resist them , well done. We are coming to Norfolk again this year (near scratby) so i'll be on the look out for car boots.

Hi Kate! Wow! you are so lucky in your bargain finds aren't you? I think you got some great bargs. I love that large jug, I have one similar and it has some kitchen utensils in it. Table cloth is so good especially for 50p! And those sweet little egg cups, how lovely are they? I had that picture of the rose. It was my auntie who has passed a way. I had it in a kitchen cupboard . I noticed the flat upstairs bathroom was leaking om my ceiling and I went in the cupboard of find a big leak and all my aunties stuff including that picture was ruined I was devastated

🎉 Bargains galore, yay 👏👏🎊 your carboot finds are always my favorite. Everything you chose is beautiful. I love the rose botanical picture. 😍
I moved to Germany in 2019 and hunt for bargains at fleamarkets and social shops (second hand shops or charity type shops).
The tray and coasters look German. I think they are beautiful, I collect vintage ceramic cake platters. You got those for a bargain. 👏
You could fill the tray with cupcakes, etc inside the pansies motif.
The pansies tray is stunning, that is a bargain with the coasters. I agree, I think you put wine bottles on the bigger costers. But you can use them to put crystal decanters of oil and vinegar on too, or salt and pepper shakers on the smaller ones. Just to pretty things up even more. It would look so pretty on the white table cloth. Then the gorgeous jugs filled with flowers.
What I do with cracks is fill them with white tile grout and run abit of clear nail varnish over it to seal it. I did mosaicing. I sometimes use that method to fill in a piece of jewellery that has a missing inlay. I just add abit of coloured paint to match. Just small repairs. The white jugs are lovely, the candlestick, the egg cups, handsoap, the white table cloth. Toby found some great books.
Everything is lovely. I'm sure you are going to make everything look beautiful.
I went to a red cross second hand shop today and found a vintage pansy brooch. 😂 And some clothes, and home decor. It's such fun to hunt for treasures. Enjoy all your finds Kate. Look forward to seeing your Facebook Market Place finds. 🌸💮🌹🌷🌻🌼💕💖

The egg cups look like Denby ones .I had some Rituals aerosol shower foam a few years ago . It was gorgeous .. Pearsons of Chesterfield were big in the eighties . The coasters are lovely .

Hi Kate. I've got a white jug with Nelson Pottery stamped on the base just like the one you found at the car boot sale. It belonged to my Mum and sits on my kitchen window sill with a floral jug which was my Welsh grandmas. I think the white jugs could be quite old but I'm not sure.
